Hey guys got a few questions.
Firstly how big are the eldar titans compared to the 40k wraith guard and wraithlord? as that seems like it could be a good base to convert some.
And lastly are there any alternate manufacturers who make things that would work well as eldar along side old gw stuff?
Thanks

I'd guess a wraith lord might work as a phantom titan.

I suspect you might find the scale difference a little jarring. See the below photo I just took:
From left to right:
Epic Knight
40K Space Marine
Old style Epic Warlord Titan
Epic Phantom Titan
Epic Warhound titan
40K Dreadnought
40K Wraithlord
So in answer to the OP, a Wraithlord is too big and a Wraithguard will be too small to proxy as an Epic Titan.

Hmm, it's a bit relative I guess, especially considering that the Titan models have always been rather small when compared to the infantry models. People have been making 'true scale' Imperator Titans using the Knight kit as a basis...

Whoa, what the heck is a Wraithlord? Ive never seen that model in my life. I don't own the old Eldar Dreadnought from the 80's, but I have the 1991 model on my desk and it is about 3.75 inches tall. Unfortunately my Phantom Titan is packed away somewhere, but my memory is that it is a bit shorter and a lot thinner. It will certainly work in a pinch, though.

Yeah the wraith lord is way to big.
Though i think the wraith guard might work for revenants just with much smaller heads.

Hawk Wargames has some stuff which might work as does Troublemaker Games.

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

Well, Troublemaker Games doesn't exist anymore, but their Defeat In Detail line (which you are referring to I think) has been taken over by Vanguard Miniatures

Yeah i found the defeat in detail stuff and ordered some established as well as some round bases.
The range doesn't have anything other than guardians and grav tanks though.
I managed to get my hands on the old warhost box, like 60 only falcons which ill use as is as wave serpents and convert into the over grav tanks as needed and a avatar a few war walkers and wraithlords.
Missed out on the newer warhost as i forgot to set my alarm.
Was looking at firestorm planetfalls aircraft and some kinda look like they could work but i have no clue how big they are, and aircraft are something i could scratch build.
Aspects are going to be a problem though.

I guess that for the Aspect Warriors you might want to explore your greenstuff skills a bit, or perhaps look at Onslaught's Stygian range for some potential stand ins (they do need some conversion work though).
Regarding which plastic models to use for titans, this thread might give you some ideas.
As for the Avatar (you know you want one), you could either go for the 40k model (would fit the large scale character it should have), or otherwise use the Khaine statue.

I did manage to get an avatar both the older one and the amageddon one.
And the stygian line has given me some ideas, will just need to get better at green stuffing.
And thanks for that thread.
