I missed the "salvage job" part. Even more impressed now. I really enjoyed saving Imperial vehicles on eBay and converting them to serve in the Long War. Your modeling skills are excellent.

Hear hear!

Nice work all around Briancj!

Ordinatus is damned impressive (makes me want one!), and I demand datasheets! (unless of course Ive missed them hahaha)

Also.... its awesome to see old models get new life. I know first hand how much of a pain it can be to fix someone else's (or even my own ) mistakes. too much glue here, not enough there, too much paint, no primer, crazed plastics.... Though I might have it slightly easier than you, as orks can cover up unsightly errors with more rivets or plates!

Great work! And Im looking forward to seeing the rest of your work!

Dude, totally... I sit about with new Nids going "om nom nom nom nom nom" somewhat akin to Alan Tudyk in Firefly with the dinosaurs

DUDE! when i was a wee littly boy, we used to walk the train tracks out in the woods of PA, and on the only day i remember, we saw a Military Plane fly by, and a homless camp (with no one there), there were tables, dressers, and a dinosaur toy with woody (toy story) on top! man that was awsome

Ok, I'll add to this.

When I completed my Possessed Death Guard Land Raider I pushed it around my desk making engine noises like "Braaawwww...(clutch shift)...brraaaawwww" and when it came into contact w/ some IG PDF models I had on the desk the Land Raider roared "RRAAAGGHHH" and then "OHHMMMMM NOM NOM!" (think 'cookie monster') as it started chewing on the IG who were screaming "AAaaaahhh!!! AAaauuuuggghhhh!" (think Sam Kinison)

My wife asked me what I was doing. I said "modeling" and went back to feeding IG to my Land Raider, albeit more quietly.

Center tank is a stretched Leman Russ, you can look earlier in the thread to see how I constructed it. Pimp my Russ, baby. And, yes, I've started building my Artillery Chassis to be swappable. The chimera is good like that, if you do not glue on the back deck/roof piece. Stuff can slide right in and out.

Everyone thinks my Valks are too clean, but I point at pictures of the Blue Angels, and say "THAT" is what I'm going for.

I was (and still am) seriously considering painting SOMEthing in Red Arrows colors. They're the dog's bollocks! I also want to paint some "Rescue" valks in US Cost Guard colors. This may still happen. Eventually, I want to be able to field an entire Apocalypse-level Imperial Navy Air Force.

IN OTHER NEWS.

I just spent an absurdedly stupid amount of money on a Rivarossi Allegheny 2-6-6-6, with full DCC and Sound. I suspect only one, maybe two people understand what that is. This note is for them.
