Doesn't matter. Lysander lacks attacks. Calgar does about 0,72 wounds each turn to Lysander (5 Attacks, hit on 4+, wound on 2+ with re-rolls, 3++ save). Lysander only manages about 0,64 wounds per turn in return (3 Attacks, hit on 4+, wound on 2+ with a single re-roll, 4++ save). Straight up, Lysander runs out of wounds first. If you add some weapon-switching by Calgar going for the Sword in the final rounds to gain I, perhaps some kiting with his AP2 bolters, fall-backs with God of War, etc.., fight goes clearly to Calgar.

2 wonder weapons that can simply take a psyker from the table (not ID, no saves, nothing). The shattershard works quite well on anything other than tanks.

Actually, every single turn except first depending on whether calgar uses fists, and who's charging, calgar attacks after lysander because thunder hammer. so factor in Lysander attacking first every single round. So for example,

If a is the chance to wound, and b is the number of turns, with c being the number of wounds inflicted, then

ab=c is how much it takes for lysander to kill Calgar.

a is 0.64, as you demonstrated, and if we're rounding up, then c=3.5

0.64b=3.5

Now we divide it by 0.64, and discover that b, the number of turns necessary to kill Calgar, is 5.47

For Calgar, it is

0.72b=3.5

so 4.86

BUT, Lysander will strike first every turn, and with the difference between 5.47 and 4.86 being <1, we can see that Lysander is going to win, because he will strike first. It is close enough though that whoever charges will likely win.

Also, this shows us that Lysander is way better, considering he is 4/5 of the price of Calgar.

Ok, good to know. The haemonculus would still have done a lot of damage.
