Thanks guys! Wow, mine says partially shipped as well. Now I'm wondering if maybe more of the backers that haven't recieved anything should send off an email. To be honest for the longest time I've just been stewing and getting more p.o.'d about where we are after so long, I should have emailed them long ago. It couldn't hurt guys!

Mine still says 'Awaiting' (details are all correct), although most of my extras are wave 3 so I'm happy (well, perhaps not happy but at least prepared) to wait until the end of February to get everything in one batch.

I just bought a box of marines and a box of aliens for a tenner each as I am a huge fan of the Aliens franchise. I have to say that they are definitely Prodos best work and they are really nice.

I say that from the point of view of owning a crappy warzone starter and about half a dozen other KS mini's from people who contracted with prodos without saying this before I gave them money.

Hence my experience with models that part melt in a warm room and others that were encased in enough flash to make them look like Han in carbonite.

But the way they have treated backers here is shocking.

The most surprising thing now to me is how many of us seem to believe the 'end of February' promise from Prodos. What's different this time compared to the five or so previously promised deadlines? Have I missed the sort of assurance that makes even the likes of fething Prodos credible again?

I can assure you that this is still an issue. Marines and predators are fine in my experience but the majority of the (50+) Aliens I've built thus far have had features, mainly tails, that totally droop in even 20c heat, let alone on hot days.

Surprise! I got part of my pledge via UPS today.

Was shipped directly from Prodos in Poland to the US (guess the story about an unnamed company having the boxed games was less than accurate).

It contained some of the add-ons (Pred-Alien, Pred hounds, Yutani squad, Predator Berserker, alien egg markers, Alien Warriors, Royal Guard, and the Predator Ship tiles.

Those tiles are a bit disappointing, you get two sheets, 1 with 7 rooms/corridors and one with 7 smaller rooms/corridors and three doors (no stands for the doors). They are double sided, in that they have the same image on each side. A lot of repetition in the tiles (some are copied 3-4 times). I guess at least the ammo crates are not present. For the price, I wish I had not bothered with them.

I have not opened the main game yet. Since I am pretty sure all this goes up for sale I figured holding it still in shrink may help it sell.

Now I wonder if I'll get the rest of what I'm owed by the end of February so I can sell it all as a lot.

Glad that you got at least some of your stuff Cap'n! I think its a shame that they pissed you off to the point you don't even want to give it a go, but I get it. Best of luck!

The tails seem to be divided into two types. Some are made of a very flexible material which is great for modelling but can easily be torn and never really solidifies. Others are made of a harder plastic, but even these will bend just from being held between thumb and forefinger for a couple of minutes.

I tried to scratch-build a facehugger in a leaping pose, balanced on its tail. I had to change the pose, the tail just wouldn't support even the smallest amount of weight.

Yup. It seems worst with the Infant Warriors, but isn't limited to them. So many cool poses I tried to do, all ruined by sagging resin.

You all need to quit with the malicious rumors of poor resin being used in these minis.

You're killing my resale value.

I nearly finish my Warriors Aliens and my Royal Guard Alien : no problem about resin on it. Absolutely nothing.

I didn't get any problem too on my Stalkers and Infants Aliens.

About Infants tails, I simply cut some part to get more dynamic positions :

In other news, a Berserker Pred has emerged in-hand for some mysterious person trying to resell it. So at least some of the newer stuff must have been sent out...

I was looking at my Yutani squad earlier. 5 cards, 1 for flame thrower, one for smart gunner, two for pulse rifle and one for motion tracker, but I got arms for flame thrower, smart gunner, and three pulse rifles. Anyone know if there was supposed to be a motion tracker arm set?

Jarek? Any answer to that? If it was supposed to have one, how do I go about getting it?

Got UPS notification today. Email said delivery by end of day, but it hasn't come yet. Tracking info just said label created, so I have no idea where it is, but at least it's coming!

By the way, the only thing in retail packaging was the main game. Everything else was in ziplock bags except the Predator tiles, loose on top of the boxed game (not even shrink wrapped).

looking at the pic of WY models in their online store and their launch video, the set contains one smart gunner, one flame thrower and three pulse rifles. I don't see a motion tracker. So you got the right models, and I guess the mix of cards is technically wrong. At least you can field a motion tracker if you wish because you have the card for it, but I guess for now you'll have to proxy - maybe that model will be included in a future expansion.

Thanks. They are the only ones I've looked at (and likely the only ones I will) and the discrepancy between cards/figures made me curious.

FYI, the sculpts look decent. The resin, at least on my Yutani guys, seems to have solidified correctly/been mixed correctly.

Future expansions? No thanks, Prodos has already seen the last cent they'll get from me.

In good news, I see a 'KS Exclusive Predator Berserker' going for quite a bit on Ebay. I was initially thinking of waiting to see if Prodos ever sends the rest of what they owe me and trying to unload it all as a big lot, knowing I would get a bit less but would also be sure ALL of it went and I could be done with it. Seeing that Berserker is making me rethink it though... It may be worth either smaller lots or even some single items...

Have you seen any bitz sales for this stuff CptJake? I have leftovers from conversions...

I didn't notice any. I did see folks selling the game components without the figures and most of the released figures.

Tracking now says it left Warsaw, so hopefully it arrives in the next few days.

Hmmmm... maybe that first email meant that they would be picking it up? Weird, but at least if its showing its been picked up now, thats a good sign, right?
