Hey guys n gals.
Pretty new to lotr sbg and finally finished my first mordor orcs warband, next up is a dozen spearmen with another captain.
Had a lot of fun painting and basing these guys, definitely easier and a bit funner to pump these guys out than it is to paint up a 40k squad!

At present i'm on the fence about whether it's a good idea to apply some weathering pigments on the metal areas to add a rusting effect.
Should I leave them be, or rust these bad boys up?

Hey some really nice conversions there ! I love the mordor orcs, so easily converted and the use of the moria goblins works really well.

Yeah, as Wolf said, some nice modifications. You should consider doing a guide.

And they look fine as is for me, but some slightly coppery rusting might add to the effect nicely.

I'm just getting in to LotR as well, and I went with Mordor orcs. I'm going to have to steal some painting ideas.

They look good! I'd go with adding the weathering rust if I were you since most of the Orcs in LoTR have rusted weapons (just my opinion tho)
