Hi there,
I personally own Space Hulk and Betrayal at Calth. However, like many others players, I bought Betrayl as a 30k starter, with some FW bitz, not for the game (in fact I didn't even play it once).
I'm curious to know if you Dakkanauts are actually playing the boardgames, and if you like it.
I enjoy Space Hulk, but it is a limited edition, I don't know if I can really count it. I have the followings boardgames in mind: assassinorum, Betrayal at Calth, Silver Tower, maybe Space Hulk, Renegade and Deathwatch: Overkill.
Did i miss one ?
So, what about you ?

A lot of the better Fantasy Flight games are old GW titles.
Talisman, Fury of Dracula, Warrior Knights are good examples and excellent games. I can recommend all three both in the GW editions and the more modern remake.

Execution Force. Perfectly playable solitaire and scales well to 4. I like the mission enhancements as well as the variants posted in White Dwarf.

of the modern ones I enjoy deathwatch overkill and play it now and then (after buying it for the genestealers),
and I've played Silver Tower and had fun with it but not bought it yet

I played Space Hulk back in the day. Enjoyed it quite a bit. Made for a fun beer and pretzel game. I wouldn’t consider it worth the money they were charging for it, but gladly played on a friends copy.
These days the minis are much better, but then again, the price is higher. I picked up the iPad version. Same gameplay, more reasonable cost for said play. Without having to pay for the minis.
I picked up BaC for the minis. Read the rules, they look fine.
Thinking about Space Hulk as an iPad game brings things into focus. Gameplay wise, GW’s board games strike me as the same sort you’d expect from an app game. Simple, quick, fun. Reasonable, but not endless re-play, with the possibility of expansions. Probably worth $5-10.
Now, they cost a lot more the that, but most of that is in the minis and other components.

Haven't played Deathwatch Overkill yet. Played a lot of Space Hulk (all three editions). Great game. Silver Tower, only two games so far but it's fun.
But the GW board game we've played more than any other is Warhammer Quest. I adore that game.

This title gets a lot of flak, but I found it to be very enjoyable. If you play the game using the Daemon Prince Drask rules, it's a good bit more challenging than the TDA Sorcerer Lord Drask set up!
Haven't tried BaC yet as I haven't finished assembling it yet. Mostly got it as a foot in the door for 30K Dark Angels Legion. Deathwatch Overkill is a brilliant game. As the Deathwatch player, your marines are like they should be in the fluff IMO. Badass and shooty/stabby. There are rules to play the game as the Ordo Xenos Inquisitor's stormtroopers if you fancy a (brutal) challenge lol.

Played a lot of Space Hulk. One of their best games ever, IMO.
I used to have Judge Dredd and Block Wars but sadly I sold them off about 10 years ago, a big mistake.

Their recent board games (from Execution Force through Warhammer Quest) have been excellent as actual board games. I really like BaC and think it's got real potential as a separate rules engine.
Deathwatch is very thematic and Warhammer Quest has been hitting the table over and over at the FLGS.
The only one I've seen to be a klinker is the just-released Lost Patrol. I've watched enough playthrough videos to know it's just not what I'm looking for AND it doesn't have any miniatures, for the price, that are worth buying the box set for alone for me.

I actually play Execution Force quite regularly with my game group. Maybe a couple times a month.
Still good fun, and I was very fortunate to get all of the minis professionally painted and based, so it looks very cinematic...
