Lately I have been looking to convert a model into Spawn... Spawn is awesome and I think it would be fun to run an army behind him, and then I started imagining an army that would back him.

First dakkadakka, how would I represent Spawn on the table? Which model's rules do you all think would best represent Spawn?

Then how would I represent Cog?

Then how to match an army to these two?

Help me brainstorm Dakka!

Probably a Daemon Prince. I suppose you could make a case for various Chaos Lords/Chapter Masters, but eh...I don't really feel like their rules would be appropriate.

I agree. Probably Slaanesh with Lash to represent the chains/heavy armaments he regularly carried.

Prince is too big IMO, you need somethiung big, but not massive.

Now there IS a chaos spawn kit, and its very customize-able and reasonably priced (25$ for a pair), so there is not much of a "need" to convert your own. for some reason they don't appear in the site if you use the browser for 40k model and you have to manually search "chaos spawn" to get to them.

However, if you are not happy with them, any kind of monster that is about the size of a centurion (bigger than terminator, smaller than prince) will generally work.

can neither confirm nor deny I lost track of what I've got right now.

Using the rules for Cypher might just work for the shrouded / heaven and hell stuff etc. or perhaps mehiston if you want to tap more into its magic powers.

I don't think that he is bigger then a space marine so a daemon prince would be way to big.

Ogres kinda work but do look a bit too out of shape for my taste if you want it to be a serious army.

Oh....
OHHHHHH

The title should say the comic character...
Something was odd in this topic, but I didn't quite catch what XD

Well, don't know enough of the abilities of the comic character to say what to run him as.

I would start my conversions with those new semi nude AoS khorne models and start adding cloakes etc to it.
