Anyone know if the treemen is the full kit to make one of the three or is it just the treemen
Trying to work out the best way to buy and that's make or break for me

2000 6000 with Reaver Titan guard 2k
2500 (imperial force)
2500 (trimming down in 8th)
TS 30k at 5k points

Looks like just the basic treelord. Usually it will say if it can make more. Also For Ancient and Druthru that would add 2 more large sprues that wouldn't really fit in the box.

If it's like all the other Start Collecting it will be able to make all 3.

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

Youll definately be able to make all three variants.

-They shall be my finest Ultrasmurfs. Built and painted so that they may wreck the faces of those that oppose them!
-My young pupil... you seem to have this unholy addiction to Ultramarines. WE MUST TEST YOU FOR HERESY. -Inquisitor mean man
Ultramarine army- 10k
Imperial knights- 2
Vampire counts- 2k
Eternity King- 3k
Dark Eldar: Eternal Thorn 1300pts
And lots of other armies, I just cant fit them here

I can't see it just being the treeman itself. GW would have to change the mold machine tooling and sprue design for that, and it would be expensive.

For 100% verification, send there customer service an email. They will get back to you, most likely, the same work day.

I know I saw somewhere that it could make all three.

Or just call. It's free to call. Then you get an answer right away. What is with all this e-mail crap? Do people not use the phone to actually talk?

By comparing to the website, I'd say you could make all three.

There is two sprue's in the start collecting box, and all three weapons are spread amongst the sprues. The GW website shows two sprue's on the treeman page.

Fine or call... does that make you feel better? I don't like wasting my time being on the phone when i can send an email that i can compile in literally 30 seconds. Unless its urgent... i email. If phone is your preferred choice go for it. I've waste hours on the phone with other companies and I am not going to test the waters with GW unless i have to.

I can confirm that you can make all three. They are absolutely beautiful models, too. For some reason you only get the rules for the treeman and the ancient, not for durthu. It's an amazing box. Get it.

Each box will be able to make all variants unless there is a specific single whole sprue that wouldn't be needed, which I can't think of a single example of since most share parts across X number of sprues for space efficiency. It would cost them far more money to redesign the sprue and create a new mold cast than to just pump the plastic into the existing sprues.

The Bloodthirster comes on two sprues. Skarbrand comes with one of those sprues plus a sprue unique to his model.

That's because I don't think Durthu had AoS rules prior to the new book, did he? And they didn't reprint the assembly instructions for the new box.

Spirit of Durthu's rules are found in the old Wood Elves book online, alongside the Treekin rules. Still valid since they haven't been reprinted elsewhere.

having bought the box it's definitely all three.

word to the wise; make sure you're following the instructions for the variant you want to build.
Like many multi-option kits, I assumed the first couple of pages would be generic getting the torso and legs built. I wanted to build Durthu and realized that I had used a lot of the wrong bits. luckily i was able to salvage and repair but definitely a note to pay attention on this one!

Any of the parts labeled as #a, #b, or #c are parts to a specific variant. A parts being the Ancient, B the basic Treelord, and C the Durthu.
