So, getting near the point of wanting to throw a super heavy tank into my legion. The Typhon, Falchion, and Fellblade seem to be the most fluff-accurate choices. I'm not a huge fan of the Fellblade, leaning more towards a Typhon or a Falchion. I'm thinking a Typhon, as it appears fairly points-efficient as far as superheavies go, though notably less durable than the Falchion. Any recommendations? Experience?

I own all three, and in my experience the Typhon gives people a bad attitude because of what it does. Honestly depending on the forces you face I'd suggest the Glaive or Falchion if you dislike the Fellblade that much.

I own a fellglaive, fellblade, and a cerberus for Clan Karrgul of the Iron Hands chapter. The glaive will consistently and repeatably perform above expectations when properly used; haywire, str 8 ap 2, multiple hits, set range/ width, all predictable and therefore useful. Took it to adepticon as the LoW for the Chaos Abounds Doubles tourney and took first. Course I had Casterman Orth in there gunning warhounds and typhoons down like land speeders against melta....

Fellblade is a one trick pony and the cerberus is like the kid in the corner eating glue... big fat and rtarded for what it does.

Typhon. It'll make you happy, and if you're going to spend the big bucks, you might as well be happy.

Typhon, 'cause it's great and fun.
A coupla' knights. for obvious reasons.

at least, that's my 2 cents. IMO I tend to play pretty light when it comes to vehicles as my DG, as such I'd probably fall on using Mortarion, if he could be helpful in said game, or running my SA when I want super heavies. Although, something like a few Malcadors might be more 'fun' rather than effective.

I'll never be able to repay CA for making GW realize that The Old World was a cash cow, left to die in a field.

I'm personally looking at the stormlord now that they can be taken. It seems like an ideal infantry support platform.
