What novels contain the lizardmen? I read burning shore and loved it. Any other ones?

'Murica! (again)

This one by CL Werner. Fun, great depiction of a Slaan, as Clint admits it's the hardest race to write, and in Lustria...plus Thankqoul and a Boneripper or two!

Are we talking strictly WHFB Lizardmen or are Seraphon included? If they are, then the Clan Pestilens AoS novel is good for that.

Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

Seraphon battle also in Guymer's Call of Arachaon short 1: Beneath the Black Thumb. cool battle scene of Slaan and Seraphon in brutal battle.

Otherwise the previous two are only WHFB novels.

That is correct.

More or less what's happened is the Lizardmen have ceased to exist as a race beyond the Slaan. However when going to war the Slaan "remember" the Lizardmen cohorts of the past and the sheer power of a Slaan relating to magic makes the remembrances real.

Get the Seraphon Battletome. It's the main rulebook for their faction and has tons of background information.

Seraphon best novel is the first story in Call of Archaon called Beneath the Black Thumb by David Guymer. You can get it alone if you don't want the whole book, though it is a good one for developing the Chaos side.
