This is the trailer for the USA release

.. might be alright....

The film received mixed to positive reviews, with a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 67%, based on nine reviews.[2] Peter Bradshaw of The Guardian described the film as a "superior sci fi action thiller".[3] Alex Billington of First Showing called the film "impressive".[4]

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

It's not bad.

Squad of spec-ops force guys get tasked to "test" out some new hardware. Hilarity ensues.

There's some neat toys in it - on both sides.

Dog soldiers but with robots then yeah ?

Certainly looks pretty enough.

I don't know which would be 'scarier': an SAR saying "Identify" or a Dalek chanting "Exterminate!"

Looks like it could go either way as far as being good or bad, but certainly looks worth seeing to find out.

Also +1 for reference to Dog Soldiers.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

Watched it. Liked it. Only real complaint is repeated use of the dumb movie cliche where the robots are all big and loud with whirring parts and stuff, unless they're just off screen. Then they're ninjas who will sneak right up to you unnoticed.

its a straight up action flick, nothing ground breaking.
having said that I loved it. lots of shooting and cool robots.

+1 for dog warriors - I cant believe we haven't seen a follow-up or remake yet.

I was trying to figure out what movie the trailer reminded me of. Dog Soldiers was awesome; definitely want to take a look at this one.

SAR saying "Identify".

Daleks have never been scary. :p

Actually they don't really talk in the movie at all. No identify. No exterminate. They're just hunting you down and killing you without saying a word or giving any idea of why they're doing it. That's Far more terrifying.

There's only the One SAR active in the movie.
It's the one that speaks.

The others got disabled and didn't work (in their starting room).

The gun bots aren't "SAR" so to speak, just adjuncts to it. Slave-bots.

Spoiler:
The starting one never speaks out loud, just texts her. It's one of those additional ones that she turns on that speaks out loud.
