That's what I was thinking. When the Gorgos loses the Symbiont Armour you still use the big model, don't you? And the chaksa is an independent model, not a replacement.

Either way, man, that Chaksa is cool . I love all the Chaksa models.

I can't believe that they actually managed to put a good looking model that size on a standard sized base with no extensions.

Yes, it has no ejection system, so the pilot isn't released when it is destroyed (like the Iguana, which comes with an ejected pilot), Inactive symbiont armour is just signified with a marker.

I'm completely mistaken. I assumed it was a "pilot" rejecting his symbiont armor. It's a subservient Chaksa.

That's what I meant. We get the same number of releases but the number of models contained in those releases has gone up. I assume Angel Giraldez' move to working solely for CB is related to this.

The only point of criticism would be the pose on the TAG. I constantly complain about some of the exaggerated poses and vote for more believable poses, but this is the other extreme. It's just a tiny bit to static and casual for me.
No big deal of course and easily converted, so should I ever get into Tohaa...

It is awesome, but I think I'll be able to make my willpower save and resist starting up a Tohaa faction.

1) I love that it is wielding a significantly sized HTH weapon - I know this makes Kan very happy.

2) I also love that it fits on a round base!

What time of the month do preorders for this next wave likely start (from, say, the warstore). Early January? Definitely getting that

I really do love the HTH weapon. It makes the Gorgos look like a giant Ectros.

Probably January 8th or so. I can't say for sure as it would depend on how quickly The Warstore gets back to work after the holidays.

Gonna be waiting a long time then.

Ariadna getting the Anaconda was a surprise as Corvus Belli has been pretty stalwart in saying that Ariadna would not be able to field TAGs in any kind of huge quantity.
I guess the Anaconda kind of lets them skirt that line as it is a primitive TAG and it is technically owned and operated by a mercenary force supplied and equipped by the Black Hand of the Nomad Nation.

Who wants terrain?

My futuristic Yu Jing city that will materialize some day will need that "Fukei" set to go on top of some of the skyscrapers.

The other stuff looks pretty cool too.

Personally I'm imagining that cityscape with shattered walls, creepers and vines overgrowing it and parts being reclaimed by a swamp.

You have to share if you do that. I'm just tired how boxy a lot of the terrain feels. Buildings are square and rectangles, a decent amount have rounded edges and these just feel like boxes instead of buildings to me.

I can kind of make out the Oznat in there. At least from what I can tell of the blobby, fuzzy shapes, it doesn't look like anyone is too weirdly posed. I'm still hoping that the Sogarat is sculpted with the Fuerebach and is in a braced firing stance.

The Sogarat is the second from the right, you can tell as it is on a 40mm base rather than 25mm.

It does look like he might be in a braced firing stance from the leg placement.

I'm actually surprised we haven't been given the "December release" previews yet!

Bostria made an announcement on the Spanish forums about how the releases will come on the "later days of the month", as there is still one gaming website with previews which has not done it(Team Covenant).
