well here we are coming into 2017 soon, so the question the begs asking is what are you planning on building next year?

me this is what I have so far on my build schedule for 2017(mind you this is not all still got more coming in):

Imperial Guard Cadian:

I have a more modest goal of sorting out a modded up Riptide and Bright Stallion. Don't have any other eldar... just fancied one.

as it goes my biggest dilemma is which group to start with ?

An entire grey knights counts as army using stormcast eternals and thousand sons bits(also some kromlech stuff) mixed in to be a custom made up thousand sons loyalist sect I created!
Also and inquisitor and his kill team for an escalation league kill-team game I'm joining!
Also probably more chaos for Both AoS and 40k!!!
But damn dude you've got a ton of work cut out for you! Much luck with it all!

I'm hoping to start and advance a few projects.

1. Build/Paint more for my Pre-Heresy Blood Angels

2. Build and paint my 3 Knights (2 regular and a Knight Castigator!)

3. Paint my Stormcast Eternals army

4. Paint my US Team Yankee army

5. Dabble with colours on my giant box of second hand Eldar & Dark Eldar Armies...

Continue my Thousand Sons, Build a second Sisters of Battle Army, and do a bunch of terrain and stuff.

I have 2 Prospero boxes and an Armies on parade to finish. I'm also planning on entering in the Fang as much as I can.

I have about 2,000 points of Blood Angels that are just primed with their shoulders painted to be an "acceptable" tournament army. Need to go back through and shade, highlight, and add details.

1. Paint up and finish a Vampire Counts army
2. Kit bash and paint a custom Traitor Legion themed Deathwatch army (named the Legio Exterminatus) for GW's School League
3. Paint a bunch of Bolt Action 'Muricans that Santa is gonna bring for me
4. Start a 30k Iron Warriors Army

1 - Build my new Adeptus Mechanicus army.
2 - Paint my Space Wolves
3 - Finish my Stormcast Eternals
4 - Build a diorama board!
5 - Atleast try to do one of the above...

My plans for 2017 are:

1. Finish son's Necrons (he's got a Triarch Stalker, a monolith, and a Doomscythe coming in, plus need to finish building his immortals)
2. Finish my Skaven army! sooo close!!
3. Make headway on Ork army - doubtfull it'll be done, but I have plans, plans involving much dakka
4. More terrain! we need scatter. I really want to make more Frostgrave terrain, as well as other pieces as the mood hits
5. Finish my son's VC! Just built his Terrorgheist, 3 Crypt Horrors, and he wants more ghouls... he may have to do those himself I told him. I'm not sure I can take it!
6. Build a diorama for my 30k Luna Wolves! Really wanted to do one for armies on parade this year, maybe next. sigh.


anyway those are the main things.

Main one is to paint another 2k of 30k iron warriors, and catch up on a few small side projects that have been neglected.

Finish my World Eaters / Crimson Slaughter, but also finishing some work i've promised the owner of my flgs to do for
the shop..

1. Painting some ancient Tyranid Models for a friend
2. Converting my last Maulerfiend (2 done, 1 to go)
3. Kytan Daemon Engine of Khorne (either buying one or converting an Imperial Knight)

I'm going to be expanding the armored forces for my Guard army, with multiple additional tanks, and painting/altering/inducting tanks from a buddy's former guard army into my own roster.

Not quite the same as building physical, but I'm also going to be doing some 3D design for 40K stuff.

I'm hoping to get Solar Auxilia "Pirates" done up over the course of the year. Not sure exactly how I'll make everything look like it's space pirates but I'll give it a shot.

Bunch of things.

My goal is buy, build, and paint 1650 points of World Eaters.

1) Finish my Flesh Eater Courts army
2) Finish my Grand Alliance Death army (basically everything not ghouls that I own)
3) Finish and add to my 'Nids
4) Finish and add to my Dark Eldar
5) Do the age of Sigmar starter
6) sigh in relief at all that being finished
7) start something else (I have my own storylines running in both AoS and 40k so I'll probably work on some of the single characters for that)
8) add to existing and repeat

Hmm... idea. Dornian Heresy Emperor's Children, for use in 30k and 40k. The trick is... keep them store-legal... No, no chance of that. Will just roll with it.

The same thing I try and build every year - the entire Ultramarines 5th Company complete with added extra units and squads from other Companies. And tanks from the Armoury.

A reinforced Salamanders battle company. Specifically the 2nd. On top of what I already have I plan on building a Skyhammer annihilation force in the immediate future.

That carrier is a bit small - as the valk will either rip out "island" on landing, or the island will rip a wing off the valk.

Putting together a full Battle Company for my Dark Angels, complete with their transports. I've also got a Nephilim Jetfighter and a Dark Talon to put together to round out my Silence Squadron. I also have another Imperial Knight that needs put together. I'm intending not to buy many models in 2017, but we know how that usually goes, don't we?

My hobby plans for 2017 rather depend on how many, if any, of the Kickstarters Ive backed actually deliver.

if the Annihilation alien host delivers...I don't care at this point, it's been four years, I'm no longer interested. Might make some Genestealer Cult or Daemon minis out of them or something

if the Heresy Miniatures - Return of the Monsters KS delivers then I'm building my Daemon Prince, sculpting armour onto the Mk2 Netherlord and turning him into the centrepiece of my army

regardless of either of those, I have a ton of hobby projects to chug through and Ive sworn not to buy any more until I have completed the existing ones:
- Death Guard-corrupted Iron Circle robot (almost done!)
- Death Guard force for use in 30K/40K. I have two boxes of Burning of Prospero and another 60 resin Mk3 marines for a total of 120 troops to build & paint
- Dreamforge Leviathan Mortis in 28mm
- Dreamforge Leviathan Mortis in 15mm
- a Knight
- a Puppetswar Prime Walker (I have a lot of stompy robots)

basically, my 2017 consists of walkers & Mk3 marines

The Island will be removed and built from scratch at a better scale. Also, I'm hoping to extend the flight deck a bit to accommodate more aircraft.

Not to mention, the aircraft I'm designing it for are on the smaller scale. Such as the Land Speeder Tempest, Storm Talon and such smaller craft.

Valks can fit, but thankfully most if not all Imperial aircraft are VTOL capable.

Well I have decided this year to build a KoW army using Fire Forge kits.

Also have a couple kitbashes/scratch builds. One for Dreamforge using an APC and one using a hull of a pt boat I have laying around.

Also want to finish building my other Dreamforge stuff

My new year's resolution is to build and paint a 2000 point Alpha Legion force. I've got one test model and once I get the right metallic green-blue going I should be good to go.

It's going to be a real challenge because in any mini game I get serious faction ADD and never stick with one force. But that's why I want to see this through.

So far, all i have for 2017 is a box of chaos warriors

Now that i've seen that aircraft carrier. I KNOW what i'm going to make as the centre epice for my G.I.JOE themed Imperial guard army

Start my chaos army. For chaos

3 squads of wraithguard
1 wraithknight
1 fire prism

Just for a display army but I might eventually add to it and make it a playable force.
