I'm looking at running a plaguetouched warband from the everchosen book. It's a mortal nurgle hero and 7 other mortal nurgle units. The enemy gets -1 to hit you in the combat phase, and if you've got units that start the game with models that are a factor of 7 (7, 14, 21 etc) then enemy wound rolls of a 6 bounce mortal wounds back.
My plan is basically to have the glottkin plus a bunch of other stuff. A unit or two of 28 marauders, some warriors and blightkings, and a few other characters.
I haven't played many games yet with my mortal nurgle stuff through, and none at 2k. I went to a doubles tournament at warhammer world a little while back, using 1k of nurgle alongside a friend's skaven.
From that I found that blightkings are extremely effective if given +1 to hit. Turning a hit into d6 hits meant that they often got insane numbers of hits on people. I had a generic manticore lord as my general with the command trait that gives a unit +1 to hit, and he turned the blightkings into a very blendy unit indeed.
The only touble is that the blightkings actually don't combo all that well with the special characters, because they can't have command traits. The units that benefit the most from the Glottkin's command ability are the cheap, numerous ones, where lots of extra attacks are generated. Plaguebearers, marauders, and potentially plague monks get their effectiveness doubled by the Glotts. Blightkings are only 33% better.
I hope that's helpful.
