If you're taking advice for the future, I'd recommend doing a handful of easy to convert models. IE troopers with separate arms and heads.

There are a lot of games out there and if players want to port these in they might need to do some weapon swaps or other changes.

A rifleman is a rifleman is a rifleman but most games need at least a few other models that look the part.

For example if I was to use the light troopers as Imperial guard I would need to convert at least 2 per squad to serve as the sergeant and the special weapons trooper. Having one with removable arms would make it easy to add GW weapons or whatever. I imagine other games have the same issue.

Anyway my 2 cents/1 rupee.

Hello Kid_Kyoto,

Any suggestions are welcome.

Maybe we will have to make some in the future like you are talking about.

We had been operating on some people saying they are tired of so many multi-part models that needed glued together.

I can see the point you are making though.

Thanks again.

I totally agree about assembly. Last year I did a ton of 1 piece metal figures for the IG and it was a lot of fun and I actually got it done! Rather than assemble, convert, get bored and move on.

But I do want/need conversions from time to time.

The sergeant with his arms out is a good base for conversions, but - since you asked - an officer or character with multiple arm options (pistols, sword, bionics etc) and a specialist with multiple weapons (flame thrower, energy rifle, sniper rifle) might be great for conversions and filling out the line.

These are cool. Any chance the space goblins and Davy Crockett dwarves might make a comeback in plastic?

Awesome you remember those guys.

Thought i would show a preview of a flamethrower BDU for Kid_Kyoto as well.

We have a sniper team you can see here as well.
