I wonder since it would be an interesting option for immortality if someone can somehow manage to strike a deal with one to honestly clone said individual no extra limbs attached. If Trazyn is a pokemon master then the HC are the medics class and re spawn points.

Well, the extra limbs aren't a choice. Urien's are a result of many restorations happening and corrupting over time.

Plus, do you want to strike a deal with the Haemonculi?

No, you don't. Look what happened to the tau. "Oohh yeah, lets do a cultural exchange. Hey, what are you doing with those weapons? Stop pointing them at us."

Then comes along the frakking Spinosaurus who kills the T-rex, and the movie says "LOVE THIS NOW! HE IS BETTER" But...in your heart, you love the T-rex, who shouldn't have lost to no stupid Spinosaurus. So you hate the movie. And refuse to love the Spinosaurus because it is a hamfisted attempt at taking what you loved, making it TREX +++ and trying to sell you it.

Of course they can clone things other than Dark Eldar.
You could visit Commorragh and strike a deal with them, if you dare. Just make sure you have something to offer (and don't even think about paying up front!).

Let's have some fun with this thread. If you were a Haemonuclus what would you charge? I need a quote here guys get me some estimates.

A: Deathwatch Marine
B: Tau Commander
C: Ordinary Human
D: A dog.
E: More humor for those poor dakka residents who don't have any.

Also what would be the additional charge for keeping a permanent clone on hold for these individuals.

Not sure on what I'd charge, but if I was a Haemi and a human came up to me asking to be cloned if he died, I think I'd clone his consciousness in another xeno species. Perhaps a Tarellian, or a Tau, or Clawed Fiend. Purely because it would be funny

I'd be like 'meh, all you lesser races look the same to me' and kick him out, even though he's made all his payments

I think the only ways to get a haemi to do it without a catch is to either promise them something ongoing, or have some leverage against him. Even then, they'd probably put a kill-switch (agonising of course) in case of late payment...

This. If a human seriously entrusts their consciousness to a haemonculus, they basically deserve what happens to them.

Why Aye Ya Canny Dakkanaughts!

If I were a Haemon I would probably have the payment as something fairly reasonable, say some advanced tech, gold, etc., but when I cloned the poor bugger I would have to mess with his mind a little; maybe place an almost silent speaker inside his head so that I could whisper to them or maybe implant fractured, tortured memories from some of the DE slaves into the persons mind which would flash forth every now and again... But only if I was a Haemon... I wouldn't do any of this otherwise, ever...

Here's a question though: would you rather have a Haemonuclous clone you or Fabius Bile clone you?

Haemonuclous. Chaos is bad good mmmkaay. Also I think the whispering or tortured memories thing could be useful.

I would never trust them, but so long as you can dangle a fruit juicy enough to entice them to minimize the damage to your cloned body you got a chance to have a second life.

Edit
If I was a Haemonuclous I would implant a small device that gets them addicted to cloning themselves over time and degenerates their body faster and faster with each new clone. I would also expect higher and higher payment to be cloned each time.

Each haemonculus is going to differ wildly based on his personal projects. (And based on what the potential customer could give them.)

The Imperium does have access to some bizarre tech stolen from alien races that I'm sure the Haemonculi would love to get their hands on. (Possibilities include Space Marine geneseed, the Necroteuch, the temporal manipulation tech of the Deathwatch grenades or Lukas's chest-bomb, or knowledge of Enuncia.)

The thing is, DE have the most advanced tech outside of the necrons, so you arent likely to get them interested with some human junk, even if it is DAoT stuff.
Similarly they raid and plunder at will. You would need a lot of gold to peak their interest.

They deal in pain and slaves. A powerful human might have something to trade, but it would almost certainly be flesh. Say the govenenor of a well protected, wealthy planet with a decadant upper class. He might be able to bargain the codes to the defense grid into something. The DE come and pillage, taking some of the wealthy upper class for them to torture. The pain and suffering is directly proportional to how high up the totem pole the subjects originally were. Far more valuable than gold.

It's not about the gold, you make the human pay in gold and advanced tech to make them think that that is the only trade off: they pay in gold so that they aren't scared off by trades of slaves/torchure and they pay a high price so that they are lulled into a false sense of security. The real price they pay is the endless torment you have with them once they are cloned.
