I was thinking of adding the Baleful Realmgate to my army. However, I couldn't find the pointage cost for it in the General's Handbook or in the GH FAQ's. Is there a pointage system for these types of scenery? Can we even run them in our armies?

The only terrain options that have point costs in Matched Play are Sylvaneth Wyldwoods and Balewind Vortex, and even then the former is free for armies with Sylvaneth allegiance. If your community is willing to accommodate house rules then PPC has values at the same scale for all of the terrain and terrain 'battalions' as well. A Realmgate is 125.
