From Jacob Crowell on facebook:
Jacob Crowell wrote:So I have heard a few things and would just like to chime in my 2 cents.
-The rumored dwarves should be released at the end of March. (Part of why the warden king model is unavailible)
-Elves will be getting some releases in the summer(expect some slaneesh at the same time)
-Some elves will be joining slaneesh as a cult.
-No word on Death(I'm sorry)
-For those of you who play 40k as well, expect it to get streamlined a bit. The rules bloat will be taken care of.
-Also for you 40k players, namely those interested in sisters. They are coming. After seeing how much the recent hero set sold they are working on them now. It may take about a year but it's in progress.
Hope I have peaked some interest and brought some hope to you all. Sadly I didn't get much info about Death and Destruction but I am hoping Death will get a long awaited release, and some goblins will soon be a thing.

This is what the guy said after asking for a source:
Just a very helpful man who may work at GW.

Besides the Dwarves, I don't car much for the elves or Chaos, so I wouldn't call it wishlisting. I play Ironjawz mostly and just now dipping into dispossessed.

I'm dubious to be honest.

Not heard of this rumour monger before, and the 'two cents' bit is suggestive of someone not based in the UK - which means I tend to question their source.

If it was someone in Nottingham, England - bit more willing.

Am I missing something? The thread title mentions 40k new edition and sisters but nothing in the opening post.

So the slaanesh release will be a mix of humans and chaos elves? Finally and if this is true I am quite excited.

Still as always it's a rumor so some salt is needed.

@Terry thanks for updating the opening post.

Since the new sister models are cad designed my understanding is that 90% of the work is done. i find it hard to believe a whole range wasnt designed at the same time even if they havent been given a slot in the production cycle yet. Therefore I'm less inclined to believe rumours that say that something is now being worked on or that a release schedule is getting a last minute change.

As for the AoS part of the rumour most of us could have guessed steamheads for March given they haven't appeared yet and we saw the rumour engine image weeks ago. A fair next guess would be an aelf release.

There's nothing in this rumour that seems particularly distinct to pin the rumour provider to - unlike if someone says 'primarch guilliman is released early april' **not a rumour petre!**

As a sisters collector I hope this is wrong and that sisters are coming this summer.

I doubt they would start sisters because of the Triumvirate box sales, that's a pretty doodoo mark to go by as the other 2 models also drove sales of the kit. If they were all separate kits I'd but more weight into it.

Also the guys on Warhammer TV pretty much confirmed it takes about 2 years to complete a model, so if they started now we'd most likely seem Q1 2019.

It doesn't take even close to two years for them finish models, they just have released planned pretty far in advance and have models completed far on advance. The LoC was 100% done over a year ago

Taking a year seems too short to me. GW design teams are working on stuff that's not due for between 3 and 7 years, so sisters being ready in a year would mean they only need to send the book to the printers and start getting sprues cast.

It also doesnt tie in with what is suspected, i.e. the gathering storm books are setting up 'factions' similar to AoS like the Aeldari and the BT/SOB which logically would then be supported with new model released shortly after the new edition hits which is only four or five months away

Well, we got Saint Celestine and her Geminae bodyguard. Seems a little more plausible now we've seen some Sisters in plastic.

I was told over a month ago by someone who works for GW that the release order for Chaos after this Tzeentch release would be Slaanesh, Nurgle then Khorne. This was in the context of Chaos Legions releases, but I was given the impression there would be similar tie-ins to AoS.

But I was told that was the order quite matter-of-factly. So much so I asked, "Are you sure?" and was told again, yes that is the release order.

Take that as you will.

@Starfarer the only thing that makes me doubt your source is the leak about the nurgle paint which suggests nurgle is next, although its only a paint pot!

Tzaangors are stamped 2016. Things move a lot quicker with CAD design.

Since we've had Sisters rumors before and if this guy is legit I would call his Sisters rumor a mistranslation. I'm willing to bet that have models drafted up. Putting them into production and slotting into the schedule is what will take time.

That's really just speculation at this point. 40k could very well go to a Grand Alliance system in 8th edition, but the armies could just as easily stay separate. The Imperium, Chaos, and Eldar factions could be tied off with a nice little bow, but Tyranids, Orks, Necrons, and to a lesser extent Tau (who could possibly be folded into Eldar) just don't fit anywhere. I think it's just as likely to see a couple primarchs come back and rebel against the Imperium. In either case, I wouldn't use the Gathering Storm faction organization as evidence of Grand Alliances.

Still as with all rumors you take it with a grain of salt I am going to entertain it as possibly true. Now when AOS came out we all remember this image right? I mean white dwarf hinted where did the dark prince go? Then gave us this image.

Now that symbol to me looks like a headdress of sorts and they note that slaanesh throne is empty and slaanesh is being held in Ulgu. There is also another certain character who is also in Ulgu with Malerion and it's noted when he found her she was "changed". Now do recall the rumor said some elves will be joining slaanesh and who was the head of the cult of pleasure in whfb? During the end times slaanesh spirited her away for unknown purposes before Malerion found her again in Ulgu. Now that symbol looks kinda similar to her headdress. Also in the slaanesh short story the slaaneshi warband entertain the idea that possibly slaanesh allowed itself to be captured. Now possibly Morathi may become slaanesh or join with slaanesh or most likely will be an important figure in the storyline.

We need that mother and son drama.

While I agree that a Malerion/Morathi/Slaanesh story arc is quite likely isn't that symbol likely the Horned Rat now that Skaven are part of the Alliance?

Yeah, it's very likely that mark is for the Horned Rat.

Highly doubt it. Remember this: Archaon doesn't consider the GHR a god. So do many followers of chaos. Also, the GHR's symbol is either a triangle or a rat with the horns placed in a totally different fashion than the horns displayed in that disk.

That is not the brand of the horned rat. Many chaos followers don't really consider the horned rat a part of the pantheon and the horned rat symbol is different.

If anything that symbol looks more like Malekith's crown than Morathi's headdress.

It is a dark elf crown, nevertheless. It's not a carbon copy of Malekith's either but IMO that's a hint that the dark elves are involved with Slaanesh. Maybe not Malekith nor Morathi but a dark elf nevertheless.
