So I ordered inferno and it hasn't shipped yet. Is it just me or is FW in general having trouble sending out books and models (I ordered some models as well).

It isn't just you, something's been going on recently. I placed an order back in January that took a month before they gave me a 'shipped' notice (some sort of backlog on the Cadian respirator heads, in this case), but they're not great about telling customers what's going on. You may want to pester them.

So, Unless you pre-ordered, Inferno is actually out of stock: they apparently didn't print up enough of the first run. As for the abnormality with everything else: it generally happens whenever a big release is dropped.

Ordered stuff on 20th and today sent email about order as I'm leaving country on 25th for 4 week holiday so obviously would prefer to get it before! They replied quickly telling Sicaran was out of stock and should be shipped in week. About 7 hours later got shipped notification.

Previous order took like 5 or 6 days to ship as well.

Maybe their sales have increased outpacing their production capability?

Ordered my book last Thursday, possibly Friday, received it today.

Delays could be as simple as a staff member being off sick - they're a smol team are Forgeworld

I placed the preorder on the book the 21st but due to some technical issues the money didn't leave my bank untill the 25th when it was already out of stock. That might be the biggest cause. Oh well I can wait but I really want that book.

I've had mine since last Thursday dunno why I got it early but I'm not complaining.

I ordered some apothecaries a while back. They hadn't shipped 11 days later. They said they were having difficulties producing them.

The good news: customer support replied within a day.

The bad news: They overdrew their stock and it's going to be april.

I can wait and they did give me a voucher as apology.

Overdrew their stock? What does that even mean?

It means they sold more books then they had in stock and are now having problems because of that.

Glad I got my preorder in when I did then.

I was only in the UK for 3 weeks and i ordered 2 weeks before i left South Africa and after 5 weeks of constant pestering i had to leave again, still 3 weeks after Ive been home the stuff hasnt been delivered, Its literally only Decals. Cant believe it takes this long, worse than africa time even,

You'd have thought they would keep WHW stocked with exclusived, but they're having massive problems even doing that.
As for books (GW and FW both), they seem to underestimate the market, and printing a month ahead of time means they cannot just restock when they well out in week 5.

I preordered at LVO a week before preorders opened on the website... and I am waiting till april for the same reason...
