Probably a wee bit slow on the uptake, but here we go.

With WD confirming the Kharadron originate in Chamon, it seems each of the Mortal Realms is getting its own super-spangly race with close thematic ties to that realm. And I'd like to speculate further.

So far, possibly on order of release, memory isn't great....

Stormcast - Azyr Incarnate
Fyreslayers - Aqshy Incarnate
Sylvaneth - Ghyran Incarnate
Ironjawz - Ghur Incarnate
Kharadron - Chamon (eeeeeeeheeee!) Incarnate

So that's five out the eight. Left to go, and with my speculation.....

Hysh - The Wind of a Light Magic....well, I'm expecting Aelves, likely a souped up High Elf type, focussing on control and purity
Ulgu - The Wind of Shadow Magic....most likely the heavily rumoured, possibly Rumour Engined Shadow Aelves. Likely souped up Dark Elves, focussing on duplicity and sneakiness
Shyish - The Wind of Death (parp) Magic....well it has to be something Undead, yes? I'm expecting fairly easy to put down, trick being in keeping them down. Will likely have native unit rules to replace fallen warriors/heal big gribblies, reducing the need for Reinforcement Points.

Now, whether each Realm will also receive their own villains, who knows? But do speculate!

Now watch the Shadowkin battletome come out and talk about a tribe of purple Orruks sneaking around there.

I'm mostly now wanting Grotbag Scuttler Sky Pirates....because the only thing cooler than Piratical Gobbos is Airborne Piratical Gobbos, WITH SIX LIMBS!

Years ago, White Dwarf did a thing for Fantasy involving different variants of Goblins, including 'frog goblins' etc. AoS could take this to another level, so of course flying six limb grot pirates is OK by my books.

EDIT:

Also, each realm could have a thematic race for each of the four factions. The Overlords are the Order force of Chamon...that just leaves Death, Destruction and Chaos equivalents to find. 8 x 4...32 new factions to create? Game on people.

DOUBLE EDIT:

I forgot that Sigmar has Azyr firmly under his control.

Speaking of Tzeentch, isn't he operating in Chamon too?

Oh yeah!

I'm sure Clan Eshin is spying on Sigmar.

All of the factions mentioned can be found in all of the realms; just because they have one signature realm doesn't mean they live there exclusively.

Clan Eshin infiltrated Azyr almost immediately; there was an Eshin agent in Sigmar's throne room when Thostos reported about finding Ghal Maraz.

Yeah, Skaven would account for Azyr's chaos. That leaves the greenskins and undead who were purged by Sigmar's armies when he closed the gates during the age of chaos.

That could mean two new factions would arise there to fill that void. I could see a undead cult faction lead by renegade Relictors as one possibility.

Destruction would have to be either:

1. A tribal faction hiding away on the more dangerous or feral worlds in Sigmar's realm.

2. A nomad army that can travel without realm-gates and have been using the fringes of the heavens realm as a base so they can spy on the other realms and plot their raids.

3. A new race made from the wildlife by Gorkamorka while he was apart of the pantheon.

4.Some combination of the above.

Oh indeed, I was just trying to be clever.
