Heyo fellow DakkaDakka-ians, I have a question for everyone that I need some insight on:

Would a Dark Mechanicus Tech-Priest who has fallen in with the Nurgle worshiping Death Guard be a half fat mutated mortal/half machine monstrosity, or would he be a chaos-y looking rusty Tech-Priest?

I cant come to a conclusion because part of me would think that this Tech priest would have potentially replaced all of his human flesh with bionics, like most of the magi of the mechanicus/dark mechanicus. Thus not having any human flesh to be diseased and mutated by the warp

But modeling a gross fat rusty tech monster would be fun....

What are your guys thoughts?

I say yes

Both are in the realms of possibility in the background and therefore are fair game. A lowly tech priest will have a much larger proportion of meatbag to (un)holy upgrades so may in fact be more likely than a mags to be a corpulent tech zombie rather than a shiny murder skellington.

There are computer viruses as well. Don't know how a model can show that but I'm just saying. With the pose, make it look twitchy mad or something?

Go with a good mixture. I'm building a Dark Mechanicum army as well and the best part of it (in my opinion) is the horrofic mixture of flesh and machine. Machine parts only would be way too much Mechanicum only... Big part of Chaos is mutation, work with it!
