Well I finally got the start of my army, some Kabalite Warriors. I've picked a color scheme; purple, blue, and green, and I've designed a base for them.

Tonight I got them all built and based up, all that's left is to paint them tomorrow and get the rest of the army in. I already have a venom on the way so I'm excited.

Sorry about the quality and lighting on the first few pics, the ones with paint will be much better.

I'm really happy with the bases, can't wait to get started painting.

Well here is my first attempt at painting these guys. I'm not going for show quality or anything, but I'm happy.

I got a venom and couldn't wait to build it.


Also, I just ordered a raider that will be in by Friday.

As long as you are satisfied with your paint scheme and you build your painted army that is what is important.

One word of advice on the clear plastic visor of the Venom is to not clue it on until after you have painted and sealed the vehicle...otherwise it will cloud over.

Oh ya I forgot to mention, the crew and visor aren't glued on yet. Definitely don't want to be painting the visor, plus I figured it would be easier and better to paint the venom and crew separate.

A quick update on my army. I got my venom painted to a point where I'm happy with the main Hull and all that's left is the fine details. I need to paint the banner and add in some markings, I know the banner will be purple as well just not what it will look like and I know the markings will be painted on in blood, but again don't fully know what they will be.

Enough rambling though, here's the pictures we all want to see.




I have my raider built, but think I need to focus on the warriors first. I also have a haemonculus on the way that I'm going to convert to have a hexrifle.
