Hi,

Thought it was time to start a new army for 8th ed. I've always wanted Orks, so why not.....

I'm not the quickest painter, so I thought I'd go for some bigger models to keep my motivation up. So far I'm starting with a box of Killa Kans, then I think another 3/6 of the Kans, a couple of Deff Deds, and maybe a Morkanaught should be a good start!

(apologies for the poor picture quality)

Nice work on the Kan there! And those models you mentioned should make a nice and stompy start to an unstoppable Waaagh!

Thanks! I must admit, I was pretty surprised at the size of the Kanz- I dread to think how big some of the models are.....

I really like the grot models. How would people feel if I put 2 of them on a 32mm base, and used them as counts as boyz? I probably wouldn't have any actual gross in the army.

I love the grot models as well, they're hilarious even more so than the boyz

I dunno how your meta would take it, but I personally would say go for it! Especially if you get a few of those grots that are stacked, on each others shoulders. Maybe added some armour to look like they're trying to be big boyz - I think you could have a definite theme there!

Also, just to say, I'd definitely do some littler stuff in between your big stuff, to help motivate you to finish. Also Trukks. Everyone needs Trukks =D

Welcome to the green side =D
