I'm currently working on converting a daemon prince for my Alpha Legion / Slaanesh army. I wanted to go little different with the kit, and so I used a snake like lower body and some feathered wings to make something a little less deamonic, and a little more gracefull.



However, I don't really like any of the heads that come with the kit for a very specific reason: I don't want a single bare face among my Astartes, and the prince used to be an Astartes. So I want a helmeted head to go with it. However, normal marine helmets just look comically tiny compared to the model and the faceplate from an Imperial Knight is far too big. I've seen the head from a Defiler, but that has far too much of an Iron Warriors vibe going on, as does the one from a Lord of Skulls. Essentially, a twice-as-large Astartes helm would be perfect (loyalist doesn't matter, half of my chaos marines look like loyalists, on purpose. )

So, any advice? What could be a good helm to use for this project?

Second, I've found that I can actually build two princes out the parts, I'm just lacking a single piece, the back of the prince. Any suggestions on a reliable place where I can get that bit and the possible helm? Preferably a website that ships from inside Europe to avoid the hassle with tax declarations. I've allready checked ebay and marktplaats (a dutch site) for the bitz, but no luck so far.

Would the unused helmets from a Knight be the right size?

What about these? I think they were from a Defiler kit.

Thanks for the input guys, I think that Defiler head with the horns might fit best. Right size, and generic enough to make it fit. Might file off the horns and see how that looks.

I'm going to assume that Cenurion/Primaris Agressors are to small for my purposes, though I'm very curious as to their size next to a Defiler or Deamon Prince (since a lot of my CSM's have Mk IV helmets anyway, and the Aggressor helmets look like bulky Mk IV's to my mind).
