In short, for $20,- you get 27 digital roleplay books, including the first edition of Warhammer Fantasy roleplay.

edit.

To clarify, these are the 2nd edition roleplay books, not the somewhat loathed FFG rebrand that uses gakloads of different special dice and tokens.

Oh may... this is.... omg... I don't even have a tablet but for this I'm willing to buy one.

Thanks BrookM! Just for the sheer amount of lore this is... beautifull.

Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

But no sign of The Warhammer Campaign - the one that featured Death on the Reik, Shadows Over Bogenhafen, and other much missed gems. *EDIT* Also known as The Enemy Within....

The Auld Grump - I'm still in for $20, of course....

That would be excellent, I'd love it if they offered that too

Yeah, I was wondering about that as well. I bought the FFG version at one of their end of year sales, but I'd love to have the original rather than the remake.

Yes it does. Bot in the 15$ mark. "Children of the Hornet Rat" and "Realm of the Ice Queen" if those are the ones you are refering.

Realm of the Ice Queen and Children of the Rat are at the $15 level. Are those what you're referring to?

Thanks guys!

I went in for $20. Cleared out a whole bunch of stuff off my Amazon wishlist. I've spent so many hours just reading the fluff from the few WHFRP books I already own that there was no way I could pass on such a wicked-good deal.

I've copied the PDF's to my computer, but I am more likely to read them on my iPad--but it is super slow. Which of the non-faction-specific supplements has the most background?

Another instant purchase here, I've only ever played a few very badly GMed session of the custom dice abomination that FFG put out rather than the earlier editions. I need to correct that.

I've bought a lot from Humble Bundle they have great Image Comics and Valiant offerings from time to time.

I've spend COUGH-COUGH on books like Tome of Corruption and I'm in for $20 more to have digital versions.

I've never played, but I love the fluff.

RIP? Not so much. WFRP 4e will be two games - one set in the Old World (although possibly with the timeline rolled back a bit?) and one in the Mortal Realms of the Age of Sigmar.

Cool. I'm on board.

I wonder if I can convince my group of a campaign to put Manni in the ground and prevent Age of Sigmar.

£15.67 for all that lore, not to mention a game. From the six and a half thousand downloads it seems to have been popular.

it's the quiet ones you have to look out for. Their the ones that change the world, the loud ones just take the credit for it.

Too late by then, Skaven had been handwaved into position to feth everything.

I don't know if GW has given it a shout-out in their general news/community sites but I bet once they do it might well get a huge boost in sales also- they tend to like things done on a Friday/endweek so might be that we see official news from them regarding this.

Outstanding for the most part. Sigmar's Heirs and the Tome of Salvation really cover the Empire in detail, for example. The Old World Bestiary is a bit thin, but has some great quotes from the "multiple perspectives" section. I love that the Skaven assassin's quote is always the best way to kill each creature.

Seriously thinking of it for the fluff value alone.

For $15, you get most of the fluff, although you do miss out on the Tome books.

The Beastiary is fantastic fluff. Each monster is covered with several in universe quotes and anecdotes from peasants, knights and everyone in between (as someone noted, the Skaven ones are very funny).

Stats and rules are tucked away in the back so you can use the fluff for any game system you'd like.

The Tome of Corruption is a worthy heir to the old Chaos books, with, yes, a d1000 table for mutations!

Like I said I have many of these sitting on the shelf and I'm still buying this.
