So I have been shopping around quite a bit for different little tools to help make 40k easier. Chapter Approved comes with the 9 inch deep strike rulers if you get the fancy pants version. I thought "What a great idea!". So I hit ebay and I found a couple shops I figured I would share with you guys.

https://www.ebay.com/usr/pyrkol?_trksid=p2047675.l2559

Pyrkol makes some neat plastic stuff including this.

The movement gauge is designed to quick measure:

12 Inch - Rapid Fire
9 Inch - Deep Strike
6 Inch - Movement
3 Inch - Disembark
2 Inch - Coherency
1 Inch - Combat

I don't quite see how it quickly measures the 6inch move, but everything else is true and really cool. Il be ordering one myself.

Also I found this guys shop.

https://www.ebay.com/usr/3d6-wargaming?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2754

He makes stuff out of 3mm wood.

He had a bunch of wound tracker wheels and objective markers and all of his listings ask you to contact him if you have a custom design you want.

I gave it a go and asked him if he could do a 2 wheel set up for tracking victory/command points. Communication was great and in 2 days he made this...

He asked if I wanted any special design and I said no. I intend to print an image I will place over the top after I paint up the wheels and the words to make them really pop.

What about you guys? Any good store? Good peripherals? Any ideas you had for stuff you wish someone would make?

I would love a reasonably priced set of counters, objectives and dials. I can't believe GW doesn't sell one. Even if they made it out of card and marked it up it would be a good idea, and seeing the counters and tokens their other games come with these days just makes me wonder about it that much more.

9inch deep strike is a pretty cool idea.

personally i loved the omni tool that had all the blast templates in previous editions though now i guess i will use it for necromunda.

personally dont really need the points wheel as i often just stack my victory cards and use discarded or bottom ones for multi point or fb/wl/lb.

A digital codex which updates itself with every new FAQ/CA and incorporates the respective army's list builder which can be printed out, saved, etc.

Oh, sorry. Nothing for us Android plebs. Only Crapple users get the shiny codices with rotating minis.

Please note, for those of you who play Chaos Daemons as a faction the term "Daemon" is potentially offensive. Instead, please play codex "Chaos: Mortally Challenged". Thank you.

I know right? How are they not seeing that 3rd party is filling a demand that they could be profitting from themselves?

I use... somewhat hilariously... a set of bamboo skewers cut down to 9 inches. Great for planning complicated deep strikes and for keeping people in Cawl’s 9 inch bubble

And then the little official 3in citadel dongle thing is great for pile in and consolidate, keeping coherency and checking who can fight.

Also a set of glass bead things from a board game as command points.

Very tempted to get the battle journal...
