I am finally starting those industrial buildings GW put out a few months ago. I see there is tabs to connect them. I was wondering why there was so many hole pegs and remember they are modular and become any combination. So my question is, to glue them or not. If not how to put them together so they don't fall apart and will support the weight of minis on top of them. I like the idea to be able to change them, but how so without falling apart?

I tried turning it upside down like the instructions told me to do so, but it keeps falling apart. Any tips and ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Magnets.

How do they work.

Magnets would probably be a good idea though you probably want strong enough so they dont slip and drop models

I meant magnets to hold the terrain pieces together.

How would I use the magnets? I like the idea but don't have a clue how. I mean where do I put them? On the small plastic tabs? How do I give it more structure so it doesn't cave in the middle when the "legs" are off to the side and nothing supporting in the middle. I am not sure where to put the magnets.

I am seeing some great designs I would like to try out but don't know how to give it rigidity.

Magnets are a lot of work but you can put them all around the edges

Saw a youtube video and have an idea how to use them. Found my magnets and dang it. They are too big. They are the smallest ones I could find at the time. Stores were sold out.

Seems I will need to get smaller ones next time I am at the store. Thanks for the idea p5freak for the magnet idea.

Just be damn careful to not glue them wrong side or you'll get useless pieces I find putting in piece on opposite(already glued in piece) and use that to push into hole works best. Sometimes not possible due to location of magnets but works like 99% of times.

Get magnets from here: https://www.kjmagnetics.com

N52 should be great, probably 1/16 x 1/16 or 1/16 x 1/8. Not seen the kit close up.

Use a pin vice drill to bore holes. Just make sure the exact same pole is always pointing out for each piece so things can interchange without issue.

LOL. Tell me about it. I swear I have them in the right way. I guess at the last second they flip so fast it's hard to tell. I know use a black marker on one side so if I don't see a blak on the magnet, I know it flipped.

?Thank you for the link I am leary of online shopping but will try it out. Dang shipping costs just as much if not more than the actual product I would order LOL. I guess it's saving me gas money to drive out over an hour to pick them up since I don't see any in my city that sells them.

That\s why I put them on the opposite side magnet and then use that to slip magnet into hole. Has worked so far but damn those 2mmx1mm magnets are tiny!

They're the real deal; I got my order quickly and every time the subject of magnets comes up, they are inevitably suggested as a top notch supplier.

They do have USPS shipping, though the default is UPS which costs more.
