They showed the infantry sprue a while back. Looks like it should work ok for that.

Our next game-in-a-box is at the printers and it's time to introduce you to The Last War!
"The Great War, World War, War to End all Wars, the only true name it has is the Last War, for now remains not enough people to fight another.
The War ended not with a bang but a cough and splutter. The disease that took hold spread far and wide. Few survived the fever and filth. With so few humans left those that dwelled in the night took up the arms of man to fight over what was left. Those scattered beings hunt the trenches of the last war for scraps, salvage and weapons."
The Last War is a game by Will Rahman-Daultrey the creator of the popular Forbidden Psalm game system. As we did with the Quar we will be bringing you a game that includes a full rulebook, tokens, dice, and plastic goodness!
Along with lots of frames of World War One models we're including this special conversion frame that features trench maggots, ROUS's, and lots of conversion bits with tentacles, heads, and brutal trench warfare arms to customize your models.
The tooling is finished as are the boxes and the tokens, dice, and rule book are being printed now so we are not too far off from having this fun game in your hands. Stay tuned for more info!
And we are hard at work on the next six games too! (Yes that's not a typo!)
No word on exact box contents. I'd hope for one of each WGA WW1 sprues (German, French, British, Russian) and 2+ upgrade sprues. Also no word on how to get upgrade sprues without the box for those of us who already have everything.
The old meta is dead and the new meta struggles to be born. Now is the time of munchkins.

the game needs 5 troops for the player team..
the WGA german, french, and russian sprues each have 6 figures, so those would work ok. the British sprue is only 4 guys though, which could be an issue. (though it does have tons of customization). the french one has an options half-sprue with more stuff for their side.
if they want simplicity they could go with two sprues each of german and russian. if they want iconic match ups, they could do two sprues of french and two of germans, with at least one of the french options sprue. or they could do two sprues of germans and 3 of british.

Are you thinking of napoleonic British Riflemen? WW1 British are 5 to a sprue, so they work.
I would really hope for all 4 diferent sprues, the game doesn't operate along national teams, it's a kitbasher. And you can use the extras for Loyals and other monsters. I think the upgrade sprue has arms to turn people into barb wire beasts too.

This Quar's War came with 24 dudes, but they are a little smaller so 12 to a sprue (6 of each faction on the two ends of the sprue). For a similar price point and with the new accessory sprue, 4x 5 man sprues of different WWI flavors sounds generous but nice.
