That's the WW1 German HMG team, it's been out on Digital for ages, I have one printed within arms' reach. Cool it's going plastic, I guess.

The old meta is dead and the new meta struggles to be born. Now is the time of munchkins.

Cannot wait to see Guards of Traitor's Toll two sets, especially if one of them looks to be civilians. Hurry WGA!

Those bases look kind-of sci-fi. Did they announce that there will be epic battle scale sci-fi?
Also, what's the round object with 'spokes'? A wheel?

That's just part of the sprue.

Yeah, looks like bases for the 10mm range, groups and singles. With magnet holes.

It does indeed look like a wheel. Given there's wheel divots on almost all those bases, it might be for something where big spoked wheels are common and the extra one on the sprue is for base decoration. Something with cannons, perhaps? I'm thinking Napoleonics or ACW.

Those tracks are clearly made by wheels with treaded tires. 19th Century cannon wheels would have smooth rims and leave flat tracks.

WW2 bases? Still plenty of wagons used by various sides, and that would explain the wheel.

The oval shape indents seem to fit for prone machine gunners too.

That's not a Wargames Atlantic product. That's a sprue from the Flames of War Rural Bases, released by Battlefront over a decade ago.

For clarity, I take it the one on the left is the WGA one?

This is, emphatically, why I will continue suggesting nuking Guard and starting over again. It's a legacy army that needs to be rebooted with a new focal point.

Confirmation of why no-one should listen to Kanluwen when it comes to the IG - he doesn't want the IG, he want's Kan's New Model Army...

10mm classic fantasy orcs, aight

Might as well start with the rest of the original Battle of Five Armies races then. Although I'd prefer undead.

You have had your say and the new vehicle will be named the...
Firstly please let me apologise for the delay in getting this update out. As ever we have been incredibly busy at Wargames Atlantic.

Following the poll for the new vehicle name I can confirm the final results as per the image below;

The name for The Damned vehicle will be The Mauler! As you will have seen from the article image we also have some awesome artwork from Mark Stacey depicting The Mauler in action!

Here's a few more renders of The Mauler that sculptor Rob sent over to me.

Finally I know a fair few of you have asked to see some of the infantry and command models assembled so I took some time out to build a handful of each to show you what they look like.

Brute Commander and Female Commander from The Damned Command frame.

Two infantrymen with special weapons from The Damned Infantry frame.

I'll do my best to get a few more together for you. We should also have a load more layouts ready to show you by the end of the month.

Once each of the layouts have been shown I will put out an update confirming the closing date of the pledge manager. In this update I will also confirm which frames will be available as part of the "free frame" selections as well as provide a full gallery of every single The Damned product so that you can make an educated final decision on products as for your pledge.

We're in the final stretch now. It won't be long before we begin final production runs. Once the pledge manager closes we can then begin planning each of your deliveries!

Best wishes to you all,

Charlie

The Mauler - I like it. Also, new models on their new textured bases look really good.
