OK, for those of you not familiar with Tommy Wiseau, a brief intro.

He's a bad actor who made a bad movie but is totally serious about all of it.



So, anyway.


He's almost too good in this role, honestly. He's such a horrible actor that he might actually add a layer of insanity to the Joker. Almost like a self realized Joker who knows he is a character of something more meta than him. He acts as if he is in a movie because he knows he is but he does it so badly that it feels like everyone is missing out on some inside joke.

Probably better than Jared Leto.

His Screen Junkies film school bit is good, too.

Weirdly good.

I think with the right direction and editing, Tommy could actually be a truly disturbing villain.

He has an inherent creepiness about him.

I thought it was because they betrayed him, they didn't keep their promise, they tricked him, and he doesn't care anymore.

Haha! What a story Hybrid Son of Oxayotl!!

That's the best Joker ever, but it needs the proper setting: Adam West's Batman, with that same level of camp, except the joker is actually Tommy Wiseau, and all the characters really just have to try to avoid acknowledging it.
