Arcadia Quest: Riders features a brand-new campaign that tells the story of the Guilds attempting to push Malkhor back from the city. In this campaign, 3 alternative scenarios plug into the previously released Beyond the Grave and Pets expansions, bringing a fun mix of Mounts, Pets and Undead together. There's even a scenario that mixes Riders with the other 2 expansions!

Based on past experience, we will be charging shipping after the Kickstarter concludes based on the actual costs incurred to ship. We will collect this via our pledge manager after the campaign ends, using PayPal. This is so we can be fair to all our backers as shipping is rarely one size fits all, and also give you more stretch goodies and possibly a choice of carrier options.

We will ship your rewards at our cost to our international hubs. Depending on where in the world you are, we will either ship to you from our hub in the UK (EU backers), China (Asia Pacific backers), Canada (Canadian backers), Australia (Australia and New Zealand backers) or Atlanta (USA and the rest of the world). Following is a list of rough estimates for shipping a single Arcadia Quest: Riders pledge.
• USA: $10-$15 to most states. $35 to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.
•CANADA: $15-$30 to most cities.
•LATIN AMERICA: $60 to most countries.
•ASIA: $10 to China and Hong Kong. $20-$25 to most other countries (we can’t predict an estimate cost to Malaysia).
•OCEANIA: $15-$30 to Australia. $20 to New Zealand.
•AFRICA: $75 to most countries.
•EUROPE: $15-$30 to most countries.
• $35 to Norway, Switzerland, Finland, Estonia, and Latvia.
• $35-$45 to Bosnia/Herzegowina, Croatia, and Iceland.
• $60 to Israel, Liechtenstein, and Serbia.

Unfortunately, different import laws and customs have made it impossible for CMON to ship games to certain specific countries.

*WE DO NOT SHIP TO:* Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Afghanistan.

So, pledge based on shipping hub (shipping paid after campaign), one copy of riders only available for June, more available in pledge manager

5 days only

no stretch goals (apparently), what you see is what you get, cost $65 + shipping

personally it looks expensive (especially as I don't like the way the mounts are done although I see why they've gone the way they have), but if you play a bunch of AQ it might be worth it..... maybe? If it doesn't work out I could see CMON not bothering with anything for retail when they reprint, on the other hand a discount from an online seller would look pretty good if you wanted to wait

I'm pretty sure those are steampunk goggles hanging down around its neck, though yeah it does look kind of like some weird breast gorget.

We are happy to announce that, due to the many requests for the special Mounts Samson and Baron, they will both be accessible to you!

Once the Geekfunder Pledge Manager is live, all backers will be able to purchase the Samson & Baron Optional Buy for $12.

In order to make this possible, the item will be available for purchase only through the Geekfunder Pledge Manager, and its shipping will only be possible at a later date, along with Second Print pledges and any Extra pledges purchased by First Print backers. Meaning that, those of you who acquire a First Print pledge only, with no Extra pledges, plus Samson & Baron, will also be receiving a second shipment, containing only Samson & Baron, and therefore, will have an increase to your shipment costs. For this reason, we are throwing an additional $5 subsidy to your shipping costs. However, if you would rather receive and pay for only 1 shipment, you may want to consider swapping your pledge for a Second Print.

Please note that we can only make this subsidy available to First Print pledges with the Samson & Baron add-on and no Extra Pledges. As the Second Print pledges, and Extra pledges, will already be delivered at a later date, the add-on will simply be included in the same shipment, so no additional subsidy to the shipping cost will be given besides the one already announced on the Campaign page.

Following is a list of rough estimates for shipping a single Samson & Baron Optional Buy - Inclusive of $5 subsidy.
• USA: $6-$8 to most states.
$12 to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.
•CANADA: $18 to most cities.
•LATIN AMERICA: $20 to most countries.
•ASIA: $6 to China and Hong Kong. $15 to most other countries
•OCEANIA: $10 to Australia. $15 to New Zealand.
•AFRICA: $20 to most countries.
•EUROPE: $12-$17 to most countries.
• $27 to Norway, Switzerland, Finland, Estonia, and Latvia.
• $27-$37 to Bosnia/Herzegowina, Croatia, and Iceland.
• $12-17 to Israel, Liechtenstein, and Serbia.

Samson & Baron will be made available only through the Geekfunder Pledge Manager

so these two mounts that were originally planed to be exclusive to the CMON game night retail store kit are available with the KS so if you HAVE to have it all (and are outside the USA, or don't have a local store that want's to participate in CMON organised play stuff) backing makes at lot more sense

there seems to be a load of churn going on as people back out due to shipping (and the expectation they can get this at 20% off at retail), and last minute backers replacing them

Is this good or bad for another AQ KS down the line?

I'd say it was pretty positive that the demand is there,

over half the folk that backed the last full project backed this really short (and reletivly speaking expensive one

it also suggests that these micro kickstarters can work so with a take of $320K that's about 10% of something like Massive Darkness (a new really successful game) or 6% of Zombicide Green Horde (their main franchise)

so the question is do the big projects take 10-15x as much work? If they take more we may see more frequent smaller projects, if they take less it will probably be status quo with a few smaller projects dropped in
