Tartaros Terminators are easily the best looking Terminators and even though they are in a bad place right now I want to add them to my deathwatch army. But their shoulder pads don't mix with the Death Watch upgrade sprue. Anybody have a solution to this problem?

and is there a better Teminator Model in the range then these guys.

Cataphractii are the best looking terminators.

Not sure there is a good solution. Easy way is to use Indomitus arms on Tartaros bodies so you can use the pauldrons.

(Deathshroud, by the way. Not the giant lumpy Nurgle-ified ones, the Tartaros with active poses and scythes from the 30k range.)

Agree that Tartaros are well designed. That's all - can't help with your shoulder pad option. Do you "need" those particular shoulder pads?

File down the little Deathwatch icon which comes on the upgrade sprue until it fits on the shoulder plate perhaps?

Not all Deathwatch plates have the script.

I would advise care if you play with hardcore WYSIWYG groups - Cataphractii and Tartaros Terminators have their own rules seperate from the Indomitus Pattern (Tartaros are faster, Cataphractii are slower but better Invulnerable save) in the Space Marine codex. A hard-ass might call you on having "faster" terminators where they aren't supposed to be.

I suspect that in the next round of Deathwatch codex, Tartaros and Cataphractii will have Deathwatch options however.
