I also got an email about it implying it was for newsletter subscribers rather than general so i'm uncertain if you might have to subscribe to that before you can get it

but worth a poke about if you're interested

Does anyone still play multiplayer?

Great game, really nailed the weight and power of a Space Marine perfectly. Also it was the only game where I did well in multiplayer

Exact same for me! I am usually horrid at MP combat games. But I actually felt effective and sometimes downright BA in this game.

Me three. Multiplayer for this game was actually a lot of fun and I could play every role at least decently.

...Does anyone still play this online? I'm tempted now to go home tonight and try to find out.

Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.

The multiplayer was definitely a blast and the game overall captured the feel of being a Space Marines well (similar to how Force Unleashed did with Jedi). It's too bad that the final boss fight was a lame quick time event and the plot ended in a big cliffhanger/sequel bait.

I played on Xbox so can't comment on steam (?) player numbers. I might pick it up for free on pc though for free just in case. Does anyone know what game engine it uses?

Loved this game and I wasn't even really a 40k fan when I played it.

Excited what impact this could have on multiplayer.

Another nice thing about this game is there is no pay to win DLC or loot boxes involved!

Is anyone else having trouble activating this? I signed up, clicked on the link, got the email but the email has no key or link to steam. It tells me to click the image which takes me to the humble bundle page instead of steam. In the URL is what looks like a key but it doesn't work on steam.

edit: You apparently have to go into your account settings and manually reveal the steam key and then click the link to get to steam to activate it. Is humble bundle always this clunky?

It's a bit clunky but it's my go-to for PC games.

Never used Humble before (though a friend has been talking about it for some time) and I ran into the same problem. Took a while to get it activated, now I've got to wait for my internet cap to reset on the 1st to actually download it :/ . At least I have it activated before the deadline

It never ends well

Superb game, and desperately needs a sequel.

The MP was fantastic - all classes pretty well balanced and very tactical.

Nothing comes close to representing the awesome power of a Marine Captain. A greatly atmospheric game.

Definitely grab a copy if you havent already.
Lovely engine in the game, meaty, involved combat, decent plot, good graphics.
SP campaign is probably a bit short unfortunately but well worth a play.

Nice, thanks for the headsup - my son just downloaded it, will have to have a go over the weekend if I can the controller out of his hands...

Played the demo on X360 as well as Kill Team. Glad I held off on buying those.

Quick question; does playing Kill Team still unlock something for MP?

I think not any more. It's purely a cosmetic skin that replaces the chainsword with a power sword.
