Hey everyone,

I wanted to ask the Dakka community what they like to see in P&M thread? and what are some of your do’s and don’ts? I’ve recently started a blog of my own and would love to hear some ideas that I could put into practice to improve it !

Thanks In advance

At a bare minimum, you need to do the following things:
-Post regularly, even if you aren't getting responses
-Post a lot of pictures

After that, the most successful blogs tends to be focused, at least loosely. General painting blogs are interesting if you like the person's work, but unless you're a top painter people are going to be more interested in the subject matter.

I wouldn't worry too much about what exactly you're plogging about, just stay updated.

One of the neat things about project logs is that after you have a few hundred pics on there you can really see people's skills improving. Pick almost any 200+ page P&M log, have a look at the progress and you'll see what I mean.

Gets along better with animals... Go figure.

Lots of pictures...and then more pictures.

My two cents,

Lots of pictures, got it

I’m currently only updating my blog once a week, but this is because I work away from home and live on the road Monday to Friday.

Thanks for the input guys !
