So having seen the Vigilus trailer which was just released does anyone else think we are going to see the big A get his new model release or will it be a release of the updated stock CSM line, similar to those CSM in BSF?

Just shooting the breeze but interested to hear what others think.

I guess in 79 days we find out either way!

I'm not overly fussy about scale creep but even I think Hobbit Abaddon looks ludicrous now.

Agreed. The 'Armless' is sorely in need of an update. Saying that the majority of the CSM range is.

I think that Haarkon will fail his 80 days goal, and his failure will herald in Abaddon's entry into the conflict. This should be the same time the Vigilus 2 book comes in, with a host of Chaos exclusive detachments and new models.

Chaos new models would be great t osee having seen the chaos in Blackstone!

That said 80days is a long time, long enough for the Cult to work its magic, to call upon the vast mind of the Hive from deep space. With a new codex for the cult dropping "soon" it could well be that hot on the heels we see the Swarm at large descend upon the troubled wartorn world to feed.

(bringing with it such might beats as the Swarmlord, bio and pyrovores of plastic and a mighty new lord of war )

At the very least I think we'll get new CSM kit (hopefully it's actually multipose not crap like the Plague Marine kit) in the style of the BSF chaos guys, and a new Abaddon. I am hopeful for more (Obliterators are terrible, the Terminators are showing their age, and Berserkers are so old that I remember when they originally came out), up to and including an "8.5" Chaos codex since chaos marines need a lot of help, but I'm not expecting that.

I'm hoping after 80 days they just release another primaris lieutenant.

Would be some epic-level geedubz trolling.

Would be funny if it was new phoenix lord models..... (A MAN CAN DREAM OKAY!)

But we are most likely going to see either a new primarch, new abby, or a new codex drop.

In the grim darkness of the far future there is only Primaris LTs. Every edition of Primaris LT 506k adds in a new army of Primaris LTs

Still working my way through the fluff and while Haarken has rules, I don't recall reading about his exploits during the campaign itself just yet, just that he had arrived and that things would get a whole lot worse for the defenders.

One of the Vigilus short stories featured Death guard and Pox Walkers lurking in the sewers...

Really hope we get some formations for them.

I doubt it, maybe a unique formation or two in the next book. Death Guard is present and a major threat, but mainly hordes of Pox Walkers / Gellerpox and a squad or two of Plague Marines skulking through the sewers trying to poison the water supplies. They are deemed enough of a threat to the world that Calgar made them the top priority over the Orks and Cultists, going so far as burning down parts of a city full of loyal, healthy citizens to contain the spread.

essentially this is my guess for what's going to happen then right when the world is going to fall that's when we see the lion/russ/or dorn come in for the save

I'd rather seen anything but black legion tbh.

Huron f.e. Lucius, kharn, heck angron or even fulgrim.

But no we get another failbaddon fail with his thirteen muppet show fails.

I like Abaddon especially if we bring in his talon of horus crew. I think we need an upgraded badass Abaddon that makes the imperium know fear. (especially with the knowledge that he killed siggy being written in the lore now).

Seems like every chapter except the 15-20 surviving Blood Angels are involved in this campaign.

Damn, he killed Siggy? Interesting.

Thinking it through further I guess it would be pretty bad news for the Abbadon Clown Campaign if BA showed up and kept tossing out single CPs to proc exploding hits on 4+. That would put an end to his sad circus pretty quick.

Fingers crossed. Primaris Dante with some hulked out SG would be glorious but I’d settle for a formation and some more options.

Or they base him on Talon of Horus books. Remember the imperial propaganda try to make him look like a fool. In those books he is incredibly intelligent. While having a very good motivation behind his decisions.

From whence came the notion of 80 days? Is this from a news release?

The Lore for Haarkon states he declared that he would take the World in 80 days for Abbadon, then at the end of the video the released on Saturday they "started" an 80 Day count down.

If chaos wins vigilus, then wouldn't it just be a copy of what they did at cadia. Would be almost the same story with just names switched.
