When I saw the new Delaque models I knew I needed them as genestealer cultists.
Here’s my first 5, they’re going to be run as metamorphs with hand flamers, in the hopes that both get a big boost in the codex.

The acolyte Genestealer Cultist heads fit perfectly in their neck holes, or you can use the supplied necks with a trimmed down neophyte head. A GSC upgrade sprue has plenty of belt accessories like icons and grenades to add as well.

Those look great. The trench coats and slightly off proportions of the delaque combo really well with the GSC bits for a very classic horror/mythos vibe.

I may have to borrow this idea for a GSC kill team at some point. I was planning on using chaos cultists for a more "downtrodden urban masses" look instead of the default mining feel, but these are nice.

Nah that’s a GSC head too, it’s just from the guardsmen cultist upgrade sprue.

Great idea, I get a very Lovecraftian vibe from these.

I did some delaque gsc too. I think I'll use them as characters since they're very tall.



A note to people doing this, they have weird armour on their backs and are over a head taller than neophytes (which are themselves taller than cadians)

That looks great! The extra height is fine honestly, if you look at the acolytes they’d tower over everyone if they stood up straight. My personal fluff with Delaque ‘stealers is that they’re another mutant strain similar to Aberrants that have bred truer to a human profile but with increased tyranid physical attributes under the clothing. Like the albino alien in Alien Resurrection.

I finished the other 5 of my guys. They’re exactly the right amount to run in Kill Team, so that’s what they’ll be doing until the codex comes out.
