Call me a synical old fella but I call BS.

Please note, for those of you who play Chaos Daemons as a faction the term "Daemon" is potentially offensive. Instead, please play codex "Chaos: Mortally Challenged". Thank you.

“Somehow”... elaborate?

Did you buy from Geoff’s website? Or is this a print?

Skeptical myself - zoom in on it.

It does look like a print rather than an original painting - the straight edges don’t look like a card mount frame... just the edge of a print. Would love to be wrong and see clearer pics if it is the original masterpiece, OP!

I always loved the original Wave Serpents flying with their Falcon Jets in the back ground.

Ye, I can't remember who. But a friend of mine through one of the facebook groups just added a link to a website that was selling it, they actually had the other 3rd Edition codex too, but both together would have been too expensive at the time. So I settled for this little bad boy instead. Dead chuffed with it. Sadly nothing but real life can capture the colours and just how great the colour is in real life.

I really wish when GW come to revise the Eldar range with updated models they can look at some of the earlier art like this. I feel over the years Eldar have lost their magical touch and become just a little too "space elf" which we all know about. Those helms hiding their alien faces; the odd shapes of makes and eye parts on things like wraithlords etc..

Also I hope you can preserve that print against damage! Proper mounting and protection from the deadly sun and mould and other such nasty things as can kill a work of art!

Thanks the one John!

Re: overread, ye likewise. I always assume it was because the models went to 3d designs.

I've not bought an Eldar model since 2006 from GW, I've bought a lot of the older stuff from other people of course

it is a shame, imo anyway.

Despite my unrelenting hate for the on table representation of the Eldar their art and minis have always been beautiful. Rather jealous of such a find.

Part of that sadly seems to be they have forgot about the aspect warriors as a big part of the culture around warfare, where these designs could really be done so well.

But I am surprized how people could not tell from the first image, super cool I wish I could own it. If you ever do plan to sell it I would throw into the hat
I guess I need to spend more time looking over the internet for such things.

Ye I would agree with Apple completely on this one.

It does seem to very much Wraight units these days, I thought with the introduction of "craftworld" eldar that they would go back to it.

Tbh I am glad I am firmly stuck in 3rd edition Eldar in my mind set

I own the original concept drawing for the Warmachine Khador symbol that I picked up at a convention a decade ago. Not nearly as impressive as this piece though.

At another convention, I tried to outright buy the full size Iron Lich Asphyxious statue that Jason Soles made when war machine was in it's infancy.
