Welcome, uninfected humanoids. I'm building a cult of unpleasant purple people, and I'll post pics here of the results. I may also talk a bit about my thoughts on tactics or how various units perform in battle, but as I haven't played in ages you should take stuff I write with a grain of salt. Enjoy!

Rusted Claw I assume? I am starting GSC myself so will be following this along.

A great start on both minis, a strong scheme, neatly painted with good detail. Keep it up.

Thank you I chose orange as a color for my army before the new codex came out, so I'll give the armor a greenish color (like the one in the Acolyte Hybrid pic) and play them as The Twisted Helix.

Your two test models look good, Naestved.

Do you have a build planned out that you're going to be working towards, or are you just picking up kits you like the look of?

This is, emphatically, why I will continue suggesting nuking Guard and starting over again. It's a legacy army that needs to be rebooted with a new focal point.

Confirmation of why no-one should listen to Kanluwen when it comes to the IG - he doesn't want the IG, he want's Kan's New Model Army...

Thanks I don't have a specific army list planned yet, but I think it's going to look a bit like this:

1 Broodcoven

2 or 3 large units of Acolyte Hybrids
2 or 3 units of Neophytes (for sitting on objectives)
1 or 2 units of Aberrants
(and then some cool characters such as mr. Kelermorph, and the mad scientist to buff the Aberrants)

I have two boxes of the "deathwatch overkill" game, so I have a lot of footsloggers to paint!
