I have one of the FW Adeptus Titanicus Realm of Battle tiles but it has a very slight bend upwards towards the corners, not that serious but probably enough to be noticeable when against another tile. It seems to be a pretty different type of resin to standard FW stuff (much harder) so I was just wondering if it was possible to warm and bend these tiles the same way that normal FW stuff can be straightened?

Kind of difficult to just dip it in hot water due to its size but could maybe get a heat gun on it. Has anybody tried this? Does it work, are there any issues with doing it?

Someone at my club had a similar problem with the Zone Mortalis tiles - I think they just used a hairdryer on it then dumped cold water on it once it was flat.

Hair dryer should be sufficient (heat gun will be overkill on a resin or plastic tile).
Heat it until it starts to sag back into shape all by itself then lock it there with cold water.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

I was able to correct two RoB boards using some chairs to hold the corners down and a blow dryer to heat up the plastic and that reduced the curve up. Did it on a glass table for nice level surface. However the curve up was not too bad...I did have to exchange some tiles that had large curves.

Cheers,

CB
