Quick question about the Daughters of Khaine:

On the first turn, if I have two Avatars of Khaine, can I activate both, or is the “spell” only useable once per turn, even with multiple hag queens?

It's a prayer, not a spell. Therefore you can pray as many times as you'd like until further notice.

The prayer/spell differentiation is annoying.

I like that they differ. If they were the same then a Slaughterpriest would have to be a Wizard with all that comes with it. Gameplay-wise it would be amazing to use spells as Khorne, but fluffwise it would be wrong.

Prayers tend to be more punishing as well with 1d3 mortal wound on natural 1s.

I thought there was text at the top of the Prayers page in the DoK book that specified that the prayers could only be attempted once per turn, but I’m probably confusing it with the Spells page. Or, maybe just the prayers on that page are limited? I’ll check tonight.

But I ran an Altar and an Avatar in a friendly game recently, and thought I could only use that prayer once per turn
