Hey everybody,

In my spare time I've started working on quite a big project (an entire table)

The base for this battleboard is MDF and is about 1meter*1meter.

I'll try to post frequent updates and I'll keep editing this first post with the newest image!

Cheers

To start out I started with a rough sketch, trying to plan a head for a little bit (Which will ofcourse change, you guys know how it is).
The plan is for there to be a single middle tower surrounded by green sludge/water with a structure in every corner of the table.

This is the starting shape of the central tower. Still lots of work to go into it.

So will it go 6' up rather than 6' across?

It's an ambitious project, subscribed.

Little update on the central tower

Excommunicatus I'm not sure about 6' up, This project is already a handfull as it is. the wooden pillars on the board are 40cm (Should be about 15 inch) I think that I will keep that the top level incase I ever need to store/ship it ( that way I have support for whatever is put on top of it).

I do plan on adding a lot of catwalks and stuff to give it that hive city necromunda like feel.

Little update, I "finished" and painted the central tower. I intended for it to say 505 but now it looks more like SOS

First piece done, and the project properly started! Looking really good, I like that ladder made from staples(?). Good luck with the project, I'm watching with interest!

Great start. Very interested to see where this goes as this is not something that you see very often

Baron, don't forget to talk about the SEALs and Marines you habitually beat up on 2 and 3 at a time, as you PM'd me about.

Perhaps it is a lube issue, seems obvious now.

mcmattila They are indeed staples

I've started working on the first building, My intention is to make some hallways which will beneath the playable surface to create the feel that tunnels are actually beneath the surface.
I also started to block out the water section I want in the middle surrounding the central tower.
