I'll try to keep this short, and I'll start by saying I'm not after re-casts :-)

Shortly before the trouble started (2014?), ChapterHouse Studios announced they were releasing 'Heresy Era Terminators' (one pictured below). I seem to remember that immediately after that someone claiming to be the sculptor started posting that they hadn't been paid for their work.
Does anyone know if they were ever actually released - either by ChapterHouse or the sculptor (if I'm remembering that right)?

Spoiler:

Thanks in advance...

They were definitely up on the CHS site for a while (a few months, a year maybe?) but I've never seen pictures of one in someones collection, not here on Dakka or elsewhere on the web. So they may not have sold very well. From memory he had 2 maybe 3 HH varieties.

There were two versions - Gorgon and Gladiator. The only examples of them I can find are the official ones Jay Adan was commissioned to do:

(I'm guessing the shoulders were interchangeable as they were separate parts)

I can't say I'm a fan of either. The linked metal plate loincloth is a bit too Puppetswar-ish for me and the weird upcurved rim on the bottom of the chest is even worse.

Not disagreeing with you, but that kind of thing has been in the artwork for a long time, and is also in the new CSM box:

I'd always imagined using that one for a techmarine terminator. He's even got he mechanicus skull on his chest.
