Some genestealer cult neophytes I churned out recently. With a horde army I try to finish them as quickly as I can, so there’s a lot of shortcuts to get them tabletop ready. These guys are primarily washes over a white basecoat with a little drybrushing.

Looks like a case of washes done just right, really brings out the details, nice job! I see all the red bottle caps lined up there in the background.

Yeah, army painter washes are my go to choice for these guys. Less flow aid in the formula than GW washes so they tint better.

They look amazing, especially en masse. The weapons could maybe do with a bit of metallic edging, but it might just be that I'm not so fond of pink for weapons

For sure, there’s a lot of extra detailing you could do on these guys. Unfortunately there’s just too many models left for me to paint to focus too much on any single one T3 guy that’s gonna evaporate the first time someone points a gun at him.
