Brookhurst Hobbies is a local games store in Orange County. They are having their annual Bring 'n' Buy on the 22nd from noon to 3pm. This is a great event to attend if you want to sell or buy minis. Every year there are a bunch of Dakka members present, often including Highlord Tamburlaine, Barzam, JAHminis and John Hwang. It's a really fun get together.

If you plan to bring items to sell, call ahead and reserve a table. 714-636-3580.

Why is it when I'm not home!

You all better go at least so I may live vicariously through you.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Oooohh!

May have to attend. I always like these kind of events. I wish there was one closer to me. I have plenty I'd like to sell, but I don't want to have to haul it down to the OC, or IE just to make a few bucks. I guess they've done them at Emerald Knight, I just never seem to be free for theirs. Game Empire (pasadena) could really host a big one with all their tables, if they wanted too.

Yeah, I'd have to haul it to Game Empire if they ever tried to do something similar.

I've tried talking Pegasus into doing a swap day but the owner is very stuck in his ways and does not like the idea of doing something new or different.

They could close their RC track and host it out there. I'm sure they could get a gigantic turnout as well.

Brookhurst has their club space, which is better than when they used to have everyone sit under a canopy in the back parking lot.

If Game Empire ever has a similar event, I hope you'll let me know. It's so close to the Huntington Library Gardens that I could probably even get my wife to join me.

The turn out was pretty high at the beginning, but tapered off just as the deals became most interesting. How many Dakkaites made it?

I remember the deals getting crazier as the day came to an end. I got about 20 primed GW Ogres for 20 bucks last time, including a Thundertusk mammoth thing. That was pretty wild.

There was a guy selling Terminators for $20 per box (well, bag. $25 if you wanted the box). He had a whole table full. And that was at the beginning. I kept meaning to swing by and buy some, but there were too many crazy deals!
