Hi Gang
Im having a bit of a creative crisis. namely I don't know how to tackle doing the face bit of my spirit seer.
I kind of want to go for a deep dark blue/glass look. But I think if I did that it would end up looking like all of my other gemstones so I'm looking for any and all inspiration.
The scheme is yellow on black with blue and gold elements like most of my other stuff.
Any help is appreciated my amigos!

This is my OOP metal spiritseer. Sorry he's in a group shot, but it's the only image I've got after I glazed the black parts blue. He's not quite got the full visor, but he has big lense-y bits?
I started black, did a highlight of eshin grey then fenrisian grey, before topping it all off with a glaze of guilliman blue. I think the effect works nicely enough, and I'm gonna top it off with a slightly dull gloss varnish, one day....
Hope this helps in any way!

Not exactly what you want, but I've gloss varnished the face plate of my Spiritseer to make it appear like shining wraithbone. He's converted from an old metal farseer from eBay that lost his head. The helmet is from a Dark Eldar Reaver and I just layered up from brown to get the bone look.

Ahh, the classic Rogue Trader Farseer - Spiritseers didn't exist back then. I agree though, the design of the helmet is rather suited to using the model as a Spiritseer nowadays.
This is the only Spiritseer I've done for my Biel-Tan thus far:

Seeing that farseers can’t take staves these days, I’ve been using this guy:
