BTW, a little news to share... Today I've been to my local hobby store and got aquainted with the owner in a funny manner... We had a conversation with with one of the employees about the Aztec Marine and there was a man nearby who, when heard the topic, joined us. It appeared that he saw my WIPs somewhere on the web and was kinda suprised to know that I'm the author. It turned out that besides running the store he is a co-owner of the casting workshop where they make those copies and their own designs. Brother Vinni, for instance, is one of their customers. Long things short he offered me to sell him my future works for distribution and use their workshop for casting for a small fee... I already ordered 20 § heads, torsos and shoulder pads to see how this goes. Should be ready next week!

just a rather quick and unsatisfying conzept idea i had... basically this is a flat version of a tesla coil in my mind... sounds more convincing than i could come up with in gimp...



well basically i see small dics on top of each other spaced apart by even smaller discs... the main thing of the look will be defined by the paintjob really i think...maybe some other sort of projective antenna would do the trick...really hard.... how do look these things for tau anyway?

The tau's SFG on the pic is acually larger then FW torso That kinda complicates the work

I will have a look out for those sets and see what the best price is now who is the smart arse smart arse

Also if you have the chance of speaking to those guys again (the casters ) could you ask about any Ork miniatures in ww2 uniforms (even none GW ) and chaos renegades for me

Hey, Storag: will there be copyright problems casting your SS guys since you utilized so much actual GW parts?

Don't know mate, the idea was to start with Aztec Marine for now and it's so heavily modified that there should be no problems until no TM are mentioned. The § I'm doing for myself and friends first and then there is always a way to sell anything as sets of conversion/upgrade parts witch in such case should not violate any regulations.
