Hi all,
I'm looking at getting some of their terrain (specifically the Wasteland Highway stuff, as it'll go well with my desert mat).
Has anyone ever put together their stuff? I'm wondering how difficult it would be, and whether it looks as good as I hope it looks.
Thanks!

I've got a few pieces of their infinity stuff for my urban boards.
It goes together reasonably easily. You pretty much HAVE to use superglue (as it's foamed pvc and the usual polycements won't touch it) and it will grab more or less INSTANTLY (you will not have time to reposition once you touch them together).
Look at the instructions and try to dry-fit stuff first.
Oh, and it REALLY benefits from having some kind of basing (like mdf). It's light. Not as light as card, but it can be accidentally nudged out of place. I put mine onto 3mm mdf cut to size. It adds enough mass to mitigate some clumsiness.

I haven't built any of the coloured stuff, but I've put together this one and this one, and they're pretty awesome. Fit is good, and they're surprisingly solid once assembled.
Their resin detail components are a bit naff, though... The temple came with some resin screens for the doors, and they were all warped, so I just didn't use them. And the other building was supposed to come with a resin door and window, but didn't.

Thanks for the information.
I've tracked down a bunch of videos on the subject online. Everyone seems to be quite happy with it, especially for some of the newer stuff (Miniwargaming's review is ancient, and one has to imagine that they've gotten better since then).
Kinda worried about them being flimsy and easily breakable though... ?

It's not as robust as plastic or MDF, but foamed PVC is flexible, and has a really good shear strength, so tends to bend rather than break.

Aiight, well, after the info here and on eBay I bit the bullet and picked up two of the Wasteland Highway set (has the ramp and a single piece of highway), then one of each of the other two high-way pieces, plus the cool hangar bay they made for Star Wars Legion.

I have the highway set and it's fantastic. Mine was a little painful to assemble as either the tabs on the road section were cut wrong or I assembled them wrong but I got away with cutting the problem tabs off. Just take your time and double check everything.

The first package arrived today (the two single highway pieces and the hangar bay).
Had a quick look at one of the highway pieces. The colours are a bit muted compared to the pictures, but having seen one picture here (in the "Post a pic of your last game" thread) I was expecting that.
Quite large pieces actually, and it seems fairly straight forward.
Should be interesting to piece it all together.

We've been using the sci-fi Japanese buildings for Infinity at our club for a couple of years now - inclulding carting them to shows for participation games - and they've been fine. The material (foamed PVC or whatever the sort of corrugated plastic material they use for some pieces is) Is very resilient to normal use. The only issue is that there's a lot of exposed blank edges when you assemble them, but it doesn't really look that obvious during games and well, you get what you pay for.
