Hey guys, what do you think of this heinous creation?

I envisioned them as being a command unit for the Epirian Foundation.

As far as the backstory/justification for giving wings to an Epirian model...I figured that a few of the franchises, in their efforts to further understand the nature of the Angel species and harness their power to wage war, launched a variety of research initiatives to study the physiology of captured Angel's and to review any potential military application therein. Naturally, the Epirians looked to their advanced robotics program as a starting point when it came to integrating organic Angel matter into their military technology.

The success of a project creating what was affectionately known as the "minnow dog" emboldened Epirian scientists to move forward with early rounds of human testing. The stated goal was to find a way enhance combat effectiveness while conserving resources through the fusion of Angel-Integrated Robotic Technology (ART) and human soldiers.

While initial fusion experiments have been deemed a success, the long term mental and physical effects of human/ART integration remain unknown.

Anyways, these were fun to put together. All parts are from the starter set except the head of the minnow dog...which is the head from a Ghar Battlesuit (Gates of Antares).

Looks cool. The angel-dog-bot is cute

Interestingly enough, angel-human hybrids are a thing in the background, which will be explored when we get a chance - although the Epirians getting in on it is a bit sneaky...

Those are awesome conversions! I love the use of the Gates of Antares creepy insectile robot head with those wings and bug-like Epirian robot legs. They go together well. And the human-angel hybrid looks like he could be a superhero or sci fi post human in a pinch. What bit did you use between his wings?

I'll be stealing some of your ideas for sure, but I'll call mine Bio-integrated Angel-Robot Technology, from the Department o' Organic Hermetics.

Thanks! Looking forward to some official hybrid models, that'll be sweet. Probably for the Karists? Makes a bit more sense than then Epirians :0

Thanks man, and I think Insaniak is right. It's a part of the gun from the Hunter Warmech, trimmed down a bit. I'm currently painting the two of them and definitely not doing them justice, hopefully I'll have them wrapped up in the next week or so.
