So I hear there is going to be a new boxed set for Necromunda coming out at Christmas, with 2 new, not-seen-before factions, and additional rules.

anyone else heard something similar?

That is rumored. But only a new gang is known for the dark uprising video, and some scenery called zone mortalis. Everything else is dreams and hopes, but it is hard to believe in another new gang

they talk about a new box with a new gang and new rules..

Only one gang in a box is strange. Also there is no mention of the scenery

(they also talk about the new christmas boxes for 40k and aos)

Or it's just a new gang, and a new book.

The bundle packs could be interesting. Wonder what's in the 'Nid one.

It might be that it's "one gang in a starter box" coupled with a Bounty Hunter or something like the Ambot?

It looks like the new WarCry set is going a route like that: Warband + Monster for them to fight

(they also talk about the new christmas boxes for 40k and aos)

4 pour AOS:
Nighthaunt, Skavens, Stormcast, Gobelins
6 pour 40k:
T'au, Drukhari, Space Wolves, Blood Angels, Chaos, Tyranids

That's what they listed, with 145Euros as the price.

My guess is it could be going the route of a rules only box, similar to the recent Blood Bowl release and the Titanicus rules only sets. Would make sense. Board tiles could also going OOP to be replaced by plastic Zone Mortalis...

We still have 2 old gangs that haven't moved forward: Ratskins and Spyrers. After Enforcers, I could see either gang coming out.

They could be the Shadowspear forces released separately.

He referred to them as "Shadowspear" in French, so yeah. That's what it looks like.

I wouldn't be totally surprised if the Marine Vanguard set drops the Captain and Librarian for another 'leaders' sprue though.

Those would actually be pretty decent Start Collecting sets. I thought both sides of Shadowspear had a good variety of miniatures (mind you I don't play 40k, so I have no idea how useful the models are).

Certainly not until someone at GW figures out how to make them look distinct from Cawdor gangers, while also not looking like Klansmen.

Spyrers were just crazy. They looked nothing like any of the other gangs. All sorts of bling and extra flashy armor, extra limbs, wings, claws, tentacles, whatever.

Why wouldn't we want to see them return? One or two kitted out Spyrers versus a slew of street trash? Sounds like fun odds!

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Scavies with the new plastic possibilities would be dope. I do wonder when we will get the guild stuff they previewed. also they need to get moving on the rest of the pets as well.

They didn't all have pointed hoods, and the hoods weren't specifically KKK hoods either.

Just that after the Cawdor Headsmen debacle I don't think GW has the balls to make Reds that actually look like Reds.

Redemptors are thematically very similar to the Cawdor, they don't need to exist as a separate thing.

What an absurd comment.

Once upon a time the core 6 gangs were the same except for differing skill tables. They changed that, so why can't they differentiate here?

And who said anything about 'need'?
