Hi everyone,
Exstension of my Alternate Aeronautica thread:
https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/780745.page

Basically looking to source missiles etc for my aircraft. I do not want ridiculously large weapons as I wish to approximately do everything to scale(ish) and actually want to model every weapon 'mounted' to the plane. So more on the smaller side of the spectrum. I based some of this off in universe information given by Forgeworld and GW and made up the rest.

What I currently have sourced:
light bombs - Victoria Miniatures mortar bombs
Spoiler:

Anti-personnel Missiles - Blood and skulls soviet style FFAR pods (not guided missiles but I think a carpet of exploding rockets is a better idea)
Spoiler:

Anti-tank Missiles - Guard heavy weapons team ammo missiles

What I am looking for:
Anti-Aircraft missiles - (I already have 4x Blood and skulls missiles, they are much too large and I'll use them as SAMS)
medium sized bombs - Approx 2x larger than Victoria's as pictured above
Heavy bombs

OldMate,

You can also try tracking down the original hunter killer missiles (or even the current ones, but they look bulky in my opinion).

I did that for my FW Vulture.

Hope that helps,

The ork Wazbomb Blastajet kit comes with several large rockets and bombs for alternate loadouts. If you snip/sand the ork glyphs off, they should do nicely as chunky IG ordinance.

There are also about a bajillion kinds of ordinance kits for scale model aircraft, either as one-offs or variety packs. 1/48 (or 1/35 for infantry/ground vehicles) is probably the best scale to look for.

They look great Captain Brown, that's exactly the look I wanted.
Newer HKs are a bit bulky, maybe they can be the real killer missiles you use on hive crones and the like!

Thanks Hankovitch, will check out those 1/48th bombs and missiles, hell might even check out the gun pods. If I can magnetise a barrel sticking out of the end of one of those it'll be pretty awesome.

BTW Hankovitch
These dumb(lol) soviet bombs look very guard to me!

Spoiler:

Gunpod, should be able to contain las-cannon, auto cannon or multi-laser

Apparently those guys at scale hobbyist do not actually ship outside of America, Canada and permanent American forces deployment , Not too happy at that personally
